Great toy, it is made very strong. But it should be for kids a bit older than 5 years of age. I am 33 years old and had fun putting this together, but I could see this a bit tougher for a kid, all in all it is built great.

I gave this toy to my grandson for his 8th birthday because he is crazy about Transformers. I was not happy to see his frustration when he could not transform the toy from one thing to another. I had my daughter try to work with it (she is 31 yrs. & had Transformers as a child) & she could not even figure it out. It clearly states on the box that this toy is for children 5 yrs. of age & up. You need to change your label. I spent over $150 on 4 Transformers for my grandson & I would have liked him to be able to enjoy it. This is definitely a collector's item for older people.

OH MY GOSH!!!!! I searched high and low for this toy for my sons 6th bday. Finally found it on Amazon, ordered it and had it ASAP. This thing is outrageous, totally huge and sounds great. Now I do have to say it is a bit tough for a 6yr old to transform the thing, but I have become a pro and really doesn't even take that long. It is good for his motor skills though, to learn how to manipulate it and try to transfrom it. He is improving and only comes to me when he gets stuck. I totally recommend this for any age. WE LOVE IT!!!
