My daughter loves Lego. She enjoyed puting this together. I recommend the product. My daughter is 11.
Rating: - Great Lego Set for Older Kids
This is a great Lego set for older kids. I think the age recommendation (9-12) is appropriate. Not so for some other Lego toys, like Bionicles. My kids were putting those together at age 4. This one is much more complicated to assemble, and my 12-year old asked me for help on a couple of sections.
The only downside to this is that after all the hard work to get it put together, you don't want to take it apart to build something else. You almost need two or three to build each of the options!

I bought this for my youngest son for his 8th birthday. He loves it, and has already built all three creatures. Keeps him busy for hours!
