- More than meets the eye
This toy is neat. Only took me 45 minutes to figure out how to transform it. The direction kinda suck but once you get it figured out it's not half bad. My 6 year old has had it for about 2 weeks and he hasn't broke it yet. It is a little to hard for him to transform however. Overall good toy. Nice sounds & such, but my be to hard for younger children.

Without a doubt this is the worst toy I've ever purchased. Impossible to transform. I can't believe they advertise this toy for kids starting at age 5. For such an expensive toy I expect a lot better. Do yourself a favor and save your money. Don't buy this piece of junk.

This is a very cool-looking toy, but is seems impossible to "close." On Christmas, we watched aunts and uncles try to make it transform back and forth. The next morning, my grandson discovered that a tiny wire from the packing was still stuck in the toy - with glee, he announced that he was sure he could make it work. Unfortunately, the removal of the wire didn't seem to do the trick. He made a wry comment about the person who made the toy, saying that the toymaker made a thing that really just didn't work so well. I had to laugh. He was still happy to fiddle with it.

- cool toy but hard to play with
anyone familiar with transformers will know that while neat that they transform from one shape to another, they are not always easy to change. This one is no exception. After 10 minutes of turning vader into death star, I gave up. It's not that it is hard to figure out, it's just that the pieces don't want to go together. So we have either Vader, or a cracked up Death Star. My son was disappointed in that, and has not played with the toy since then.

- And what brainiac thought up THIS nightmare!
My 7 year old son received this for Christmas. He eagerly awaited for me to "Transform" it into the death star.....waiting.......waiting.......(Yawn)WAITING!!! It took me an HOUR and I finally gave up! My son proceeded to try and in 10 minutes figured it out!! (Ok, it was a little warped on one side and not perfectly spherical but he got it!) It makes me appreciate all the Christmas Eves that my parents tackled all those toys for me!!!! Anyway, the sound effects are really cool and my son likes using the spring action gun to knock over his other transformers!
