We got this toy for my son for Christmas. He is 5. He has broken off a couple of pieces SEVERAL times. I'm not sure if they are supposed to come off or not, but it DOES frustrate him to no end to not be able to play with the toy because the arm falls off or whatever. For the price, I expected more too I guess.

This was an awful LOT of money for two cars as small as these are, but my son liked them, so I guess I can't be too irritated by it. It's really hard to get the pieces to move into the correct positions to Transform them into robots, kinda like maybe these were intended to be collector's items, not actual toys for kids to play with?

My 7 year old son is a Transformer enthusiast. He has several action figures. This is the one thing he begged for this Xmas. We bought it for him well ahead of time...good thing! Within 30 min. of opening it, one of the pins fell out of the 'leg' of the older model Bumblebee. My husband found it and slid it back into place. It won't stay put.
My son unfortunately didn't read the directions thorougly and broke the newer model Bumblebee by pulling the hood area down rather than pushing some button my husband told him he should have pushed. It seems that in their hurry to mass produce these for the Holidays they threw quality to the wind.

not very easy for my 10 yr old grandson to do. / nor in that case for me either.

This toy was for my 11 year old who waited eagerly for it. When it came he was so excited and still plays with it a lot.
