Joe Harnel composed and orcastrated the Insedental music for the Incredible Hulk. His moody over and undertones are a good musical backdrop for the series with Bixby and guest stars' emmaculate acting as well as Lou Ferrigno's nuclear muscle green frenzia.(as in Prometheus where he was in make up much of the time.) You can also find Joe Harnel's big band tunes and a more cheerful, though just as abruptly played out orcastration here for sale on this site, the only albumn for sale and in stock right now. "Fly me to the Moon." and the others though up and major has elements to the style used in the Incredible Hulk, and other TV series I grew up on as a kid/teen. In the Hulk sci-fi maj/min/maj rock and roll sounds gitars are layered to the rather pro-agressive yet big band orcastrated some times abrupt sometimes ominence with jaded and dark anxiety of sci-fi styl'n tunes the way they should be for any REAL sci fi fan!. In the Incredible Hulk it builds both the audience and the characters in the film.

I loved the music from this show the Lonely Man theme is fantastic. This is a must for any Incredible Hulk fan. The only thing I did not like was the graveyard score, the Lonely Man song for that piece was different on tv.

What can I say? I grew up on the Incredible Hulk from the pilot episode to the Death of the Incredible to the comics from 1962 to the present. So to finally get hold to the very rare/scarce tv series soundtrack is not only a trip down memory lane, it's a dream come true. Obviously this cd was not released in stores or promoted online anywhere, the original buyer of my copy must've been at the right place(convention) at the right time to snatch this one up, otherwise I would've never known there was such a release. What we have here is the music of Jospeh Harnell for the various episodes from the Incredible Hulk tv series, particularly the pilot episode, Married, Prometheus, and there's the infamous disco version that David Banner would always find himself getting beat up to before Hulking Out(lol). In addition to that, the sdtk also features some cuts from the TV Series "Cliffhangers". The only reasons I didn't go on and give this one 5 stars is because: (1)there was so much more music that could've/should've been included...this should've been a double or triple cd, (2)while it was easy to find myself enjoying the cd in spite of the music's "limitations" an attempt to remaster the music in spite of the wears and tears of time would have been awesome, & (3)Love the music, but I was hoping the transformation sound efx/vocals were included(ie, the eerie chorale vocals from the 1st transformation and even the dialogue from the main theme(ie, Dr.David Banner, physician, scientist...). Long story short, this is a keeper for the die hard fans of the tv series and could make you alot of money some day if you keep it in mint condition, I'm hoping for an exhaustive re-release come time for the release of the Incredible Hulk in June 2008...hopefully more inclusive, with AND without sound efx, and remastered, but until then...if you stumble upon this project, buy it and hold on to it for dear life.
