Kent isn't the only Doctor Fate, i'm a little disappointed but it made the story flow so I'm ok with it.
I loved Hawkman's attitude with GA, that was exactly what I'd expect from Geoff. I am disappointed in his flight and wings, it shouldn't have been so similar to J'ohnn's or Kal'El's flight.
Icicle was an interesting touch and was acted very well, loved the cold attitude.
The woman playing Waller looks excellent for the roll, she could have been more stern in my opinion but other then that I'm super eager to see more on the Suicide Squad.
J'ohnn was, in my opinion the best part of the show. the come in peace and cookies lines had me laughing out loud. And the quick visual of mars and his green human appearance was fun to watch. The only thing that could've been better was if they showed his martian form instead. I'm not too picky though.
Seeing clips of former characters was also a bonus, I kept thinking what would happen if Bart met Jay.
Fate and Star Girl were both played well, nothing outstanding but very entertaining.
I enjoyed the episode, hope to see more like it.
Now for speculation!
Apokolips? Yes please. New heroes, old heroes, Darkseid battle. 'Nuff said.
Agent Mercer? That's interesting--different direction then I previously thought.
According to fate, Lex isn't dead. We all knew that--but now Clark does too.
trickstyx: been waiting for SC 3 !, i also liked this squad speacial!

The_Incredible_Floyd:
Picked up Planet Hulk yesterday and watched it twice last night. Out of all the Marvel feature length cartoons this in my opinion has been the best so far. The adaptation of the story is faithful to the books while remaining a self contained story with a beginning middle and end that are clear to the viewer. MLG has out done themselves with this one now if they resolve the licensing issues they have with certain characters they could certainly shift into World War Hulk.
SPOILERS!------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I picked it up last night also. I thought the story was great it had alot of action. I thought replacing the Surfer with Beta Ray Bill was awesome. I'm about to watch it again!
The_Incredible_Floyd:
jim25.
Well,I just figured out that it's been a little les than a year since you were here. But my welcome to Salcha00 still stands.
The_Incredible_Floyd:
Another point is I'm trying to leave out the big guns of Marvel/DC (Superman, Spiderman, Batman, Thor, etc.)and instead go for second-tier charcters.
I'm down with that.
new midnight avenger: Thanks Wayne. yeah this one is a pretty good ways back now.
Though I'm going to be slowing down a bit so maybe you can catch up?;)
The_Incredible_Floyd: I wanna read those!
