The_Incredible_Floyd:
Perhaps you've been watching the New York Yankees' 27th World Championship on Fox this week and have seen one of the network's many promos for Family Guy Presents: Seth & Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show, which airs Sunday, November 8. Perhaps you've also thought to yourself, "Way to buy another World Series, jerks, and what's this Family Guy hoo-ha all about?"
Well, Fox has released a few more videos that explain what the show is, and... okay, we still don't really know. It seems sort of variety-show-esque and appears to be mostly Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane and co-star Alex Borstein singing—in character—a bunch of songs from the show. Which is really creepy, just like when we see Nancy Cartwright do Bart Simpson's voice.
Maybe it's just me (wait, of course it's not JUST me), but if I'm going to watch people sing crude songs about sluts and the Holocaust, I'd rather watch Peter and Stewie. Because they're cartoooooons. And that's what makes it funny. Watching Seth bebop is just... icky.
Everyone on or related to that show are total Obama's.
The_Incredible_Floyd: You just did Tim.:D
Tim: I'd like to see Sylar maybe teeter on the fence between good and evil kind of like Magneto. Maybe he could never do the "killing for no reason thing" and develop some sort of honor code. I'm curious right now what's going to happen since he seems to still have Nathan inside of him, and the real him is in the cop mind reader.
warduria: Awesome, thanks for sharing.:D
The_Incredible_Floyd: I liked it also. I will say that I don't think we will ever get a sequel.
Tim: Maybe I'll find like a whole years' worth of Spider-man in a 50 cent box someday. :D
warduria: Can't wait any longer for your favorite bumbling wanna-be spy and his ridiculously hot bodyguard?
Well, too bad. "Chuck" still won't be back until March. Co-star Yvonne Strahovski, though, could be in your hands as early as Nov. 17.
Strahovski co-stars in "The Canyon," a straight-to-DVD survival thriller whose concept sounds a lot like "Open Water" ... but, you know, in the Grand Canyon and presumably with fewer sharks. Or, better, like "The Descent" but above ground and presumably with fewer feral mutants.
In a nutshell, Strahovski's city-folk character and hubby Eion Bailey hire an off-the-books guide to explore the Grand Canyon. Guide is bitten by a snake, so the yuppies must survive and find rescue.
The_Incredible_Floyd: I wish James Cameron still had the rights. After seeing the trailer for his new Film Avatar it made me want him to direct another Terminator film.
