Justice League Episode: Twilight

This episode is more like a sequel to the finale of Superman the Animated Series where Superman was brainwashed by Darkseid to overthrow Earth. Superman by this episode of the Justice League is still very much angry about the entire ordeal.  Darkseid appears on the Watch Tower unexpectedly and Superman in his anger punches him to the ground shaking the entire Watch Tower. Batman orders J'onn and Wonder Woman to stop him before he makes the Watch Tower go out of orbit. Darkseid asks for the help of League to stop Braniac. Superman tries to warn the League of Darkseid's treachery but Batman believes lives are in danger. So they go to his aid. 

Of course Darkseid has got a trick up his sleeve and offers Superman to Braniac in exchange for leaving his planet alone. The end features a knock down drag out fight between Superman and Darkseid. So fierce is Superman's rage he knocks the Batman up against a wall for trying to stop him. Of course Batman had been unusually crabby even for him this episode.  Batman however gets up and grabs Superman while hitting a boom tube teleporter device. Superman and Batman are teleported away just before a huge explosion that Batman believes even Darkseid could not have survived. Superman later  tells Batman that he's not always right in a unusually angry tone for Superman.
