Justice League Episode: Eclipsed
A gemstone turns all those that touch it evil. Before the heroes deal with the super villain created by this gem, there is a lot of comedy in this episode. Gordon Godfrey a talk show host gives the Flash a hard time while Flash struggles to do commercials to earn some extra dough.  Things get rough when overly ambitious Hawk Girl busts the gem into a million pieces that fly into the whole League except the Flash. It's up to the Flash to get the Justice League out of the spell of the fragmented gem.

Episode Facts
The talk show host who got under Flash's skin and insulted Wonder Woman's clothes was was a key villain in the Legends comic book mini series in the 1980's by John Byrne.
In Legends, Glorious Godfrey was employed by Darkseid to turn public opinion against the DC Comics heroes. In the guise of author G. Gordon Godfrey, he uses his powers of persuasion to convince ordinary citizens that superheroes cause more trouble than they're worth. The result is a Presidential order banning all superhero activity from President Ronald Reagan.
