Justice League Episode: Hereafter

Superman villains, Toy Man, Live Wire, Weather Wizard, Kailbak, and Metallo want revenge on Superman. An orchestrated attack keeps the League busy in an battle in the city until Superman arrives. A large gun utilized by the Toy Man appears to kill Superman. The funeral of Superman begins with a tearful world including Lois Lane, the League, and even Lex Luthor who proclaims even he will miss him. The only one not in attendance is Batman who figured out that Superman is not dead, but teleported away. While Batman investigates the disappearance of Superman, the League has to deal with a jerk named Lobo who wants to take Superman's place. A villain uprising begins and the League and Lobo the Main Man go to put a stop to it.

Meanwhile, Superman's position is shown to be on a mysterious planet with a red sun. Of course the red sun takes away Superman's powers. Using a car that had been teleported to the planet as well Superman takes off to try and reach the Justice League on his radio. To Superman's astonishment he finds that he is still on Earth in the future, and Vandal Savage is the last man on Earth. Having had nothing but time to think about his failings Savage helps Superman get back to his rightful time in hopes of saving the Earth from devastation.
