He's appeared in a number of classic tv series like B.J. and the Bear, Knight Rider, Incredible Hulk, and Roswell.

His character on this episode of the Justice League is a carry over from Superman the Animated Series. He doesn't trust Supergirl thanks to the rampage Superman went on while under the control of Darkseid in the Superman finale.
