Justice League Episode: The Brave & the Bold

Central City is taken over by Grodd and it's up to the Flash, Green Lantern and the rest of the Justice League to save the day including the Gorilla City.

The Brave & the Bold was a comic book usually featuring Batman and another character every month.

David Ogden Stiers who does the voice of Solovar played J'onn J'onz in a failed live action Justice League of America pilot for television. 

This episode gives a nod to Planet of the Apes when a talking ape tells the Flash to get his stinking paws off of him "you filthy human".

The Flash goes through bad dreams of having a big head, fat body, and and a Pinocchio body like that of early storylines in the 1960's Flash comics.

Michael Rosenbaum does a hilarious job as the Flash with lots of one liners the Super Friends Flash would have only dreamed of.
