Justice League Episode: Injustice For All
The Justice League captures a ailing Lex Luthor. After years of exposure to Kryptonite it's found that even people from Earth can be effected. Luthor escapes prison thanks to the Ultra Humanite and organizes a gang of super villains known as the Injustice Gang.

Lex Luthor's outfit looks a lot like the Super Friends Purple Lex suit. Before the show is over Lex is in his old Super Powers suit first introduced in Action Comics 544. This was later part of the Super Powers comic mini series and toy line.
