The WB's Description
A glimpse of the future Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum) is revealed after a kryptonite explosion splits Lex in two and his evil side - Alexander - is released. Alexander immediately imprisons Lex in the mansion and begins his rampage by trying to kill Clark (Tom Welling) and Chloe (Allison Mack) in the lab, jousting with Lionel (John Glover) and convincing him to return to the dark side and finally, threatening to close the Talon unless Lana (Kristin Kreuk) moves in with him.

 Music

This episode shows us a side of Lex Luthor not shown before on Smallville. His evil duplicate gives us a view of the struggle between good and evil going on inside of Lex Luthor. At the barn where evil Lex confronts the Kents beating up Clark with a kryptonite ring and then giving this sure to be classic line to Jonathan Kent. "I am the Villain of this Story".  Kind of gives you chills the way he says it.  Like when Darth Vader first told Luke "I am your father".
