Clark buys a Smallville High class ring, but unknown to Clark is the fact that the gem used on the ring is red kryptonite.

Historically in the comic book world, red k has always had a different affect on Superman each time he has been exposed to it.

The kryptonite ring turns Clark into a wild reckless teenager, instead of making him sick like the green kryptonite. Clark becomes extremely rebellious to Ma and Pa Kent.  Clark makes some major charges on the Kent's credit cards, buys a leather jacket, and takes off on motorcycle. The most shocking moment comes when Clark completely defies Jonathan and throws him into his truck outside Smallville High.

New Clark puts the moves on Lana and the new bad girl at school. Meanwhile Pete Ross discovers the class rings were made of meteor rock and informs the Kents.

Clark borrows Lex's Ferrari and takes Lana to a bar of all places. Evil Clark kisses another girl right in front of Lana. Clark gets into a fight with some guys at the bar, and of course nobody can stop him.

Jonathan and Pete make a plan to save Clark. Pete exposes Clark to green k while Jonathan smashes the ring with big hammer.

Luckily Clark goes back to normal and life goes back to normal on the Kent farm. Lana isn't so easy though. Clark brings her flowers and apologizes, but Lana gives him the cold shoulder and rides off on her horse. Of course this isn't the last we'll see of the Red Kryptonite.
