Do you think that Lex and Clark are going to turn into mortal enemies this season? It's got to happen sooner or later.

i read that lex and clakr will hate eachother by the end of the season, one of the reasons is lana and lex hook up this season aswell, apparently they always wanted it to be a love triangle between them but they couldnt due to lana's age on the show but now that there in college and everything, thats a main goal of the season

ya, i really dont wna tlex and lana to start goin at it tho, i think thats really retarded, i understand the concept to piss clark off, but theres no way lana would like lex

I don't know Smallville's Lex Luthor is a pretty cool dude with some awesome cars. Not to mention all that money. So it's not beyond the realm of possiblity for Lana to like Lex. Not that I think that's a great idea, but it's possible.

i dunno if lana will fall for lex, she doesn't really like the type of guy lex is, espically due to whatever lex is going to do to Johnathan about the senator race. Remember when Future clark and lex were outside talking at the party on lex-mas, lex said, "...me an Lana, now how the hell did that happen?" Clark: "well, you became the kinda man she could love." this is because he forfeited the race to johnathon in the future, in the real time, he doesn't.

It has already showed that Clark and Lex fighting and becoming less and less friends. They are getting into more and more fights and arguing with each other. I think we are starting to see them grow apart more. Everything is secret between them and that's what is ruining their friendship.

I believe they will remain somewhat close, their friendship hanging by a thread until the bitter end of this wild and spontaneous season where it all falls apart and they become enemies at last. is it just me or did the writers decide this season to make a big board of plot ideas (aquaman, vampires, Clark goes crazy, ghost of Christmas future, stripers, ect.) and every week they throw a dart at it. Whatever idea it lands on, they just run with it. i mean none of the episodes this season have plots that are even relevant to each other, not that i am complaining, i like it, love it, i just cant get over how random it is.

I agree with you Kal. This does have to be the wierdest season they have come up with so far, Even though I am enjoying it.  I wish they would get into more of a good story line and run with it. Now about Lex I think him and Clarks friendship will pretty much end in the 100th episode, I think around that time is when it will end. Rember Lex is getting ready to distory Mr. Kent in this Race for office, so I think that is when Clark will break stuff almost fully off and claim enemies, I mean Clark has been threating it for a while. I think it is going to get really intersting soon.

after "mortal" i highly doubt it because of what lex did (obviously). but they still talk to each other. i heard this is the season they finally become MORTAL enemies, id like to see how that comes about, maybe lex accidently kills lana or something that would most defintly make clark hate lex.
