I agree Chris Reeve was the best Superman of all time.

But I think Dean Cain and George Reeves were excellent as well as Supes.

Chris definetly is the best. I never saw Kirk in the role but Dean and George were pretty good too. John and Gerard were good young Clarks but Tom does a better job on that department.

There's no compotition, Chris Reeves was hands down the best superman ever. God Rest his soul.  Tom Welling best Clark Kent ever, still has aways to go to even compare to Reeves though.

Mr. Christopher Reeves THE ALL TIME GREATEST UPERMAN FOR THE REST OF UPERMAN TIME. Next to him is Tom.
Posted:  07 Nov 2006 18:43
Brandon Routh has more of a modern day edge than Christopher, so i like Brandon as superman
Christopher has clark hands down though.

I agree with ya IceBerg...

Reeve was the best Superman ever & will always be.
Tom Welling plays a good Clark Kent on Smallville.
Posted:  27 Feb 2007 11:16
I'm sure Clark would make a good superman too.

If he'd ever agree to wearing the costume.

Chris Reeve is the best one so far but I think Brandon Routh will give him a run for his money. He was excellent as Superman and seemed pretty good as Clark although there wasn't too much interacting between Clark and Lois so we'll see how that goes in the sequel. But Chris Reeve will always be the best, at least sentimentally, for those of us introduced to the character through him.

I think if Brandon makes a few more movies that the younger generation may claim him as their own Superman. It's partly about who you grow up watching.

Exactly Tim. My favorite James Bond was Roger Moore because he was the first Bond I ever saw. For your Eyes Only was the 1st Bond movie I ever saw when I was 6-7 years old. If you ask my mom or dad, for them it's Sean Connery. Although I really really liked Daniel Craig in the latest Bond film. He was great but I think it also helped that the movie itself was good. The last Bond film with Pierce Brosnan sucked. Invisible car my ass.

I have to 50/50 with you on that one, Roger Moore was my favorite James Bond actor for the same reason as you stated. To me he was Bond. I love to watch Sean Connery in other movies, but I never got into the older Bond movies.

I always felt that Brosnan was meant to play James Bond though. When he had that show Remington Steele ,you just had to think to yourself that guy ought to play James Bond. I think Dalton is a good actor, but I think he was kind of boring as James Bond. I guess the film itself has a lot to do with it as well.

Haven't seen Craig's movie yet.

I liked Brosnan also and I always thought he would make a good James Bond and he did. The problem was the movies themselves weren't that great, particularly the last one. Don't get me started on Dalton. You have to check out the new one though...it was pretty good.
