Let's see.
I've seen someone try to start a role playing/storytelling game where different users assume the role of a different character from the Superman mythos and tell their stories. You could try to manage something along those lines.
On another note, you could find a unique picture and run a caption contest with it.
Think of a really great subject to rant about and generate a discussion over it.
How about the three word story? I've seen it many times in other discussion board, especially boards for online games. The idea is that whoever wants to participate just adds three words to whatever has already been written, basically a mass collaboration. Sometimes there's a one day limit, or just a one post limit before someone can make another post-whatever keeps someone from monopolizing the topic. If you were to do this here I'd suggest keeping it Superman/Smallville related and maybe aim it away from the main characters; try Toyman or Perry White maybe?
