They should make a tv show of kara, supergirl. During her years as a college student. Something similar to Smallville.
I borrowed the old Supergirl movie, i reckon it has pontential. We seen a guys perspective of growing up with powers. How about a girls.
what you guys think?

Sounds good if it has good writers. I think a show like that should really go with the sci-fi twist. Lots of supervillains. __________________

I know which one you are talking about that's the 90's version. Originally she was just Superman's cousin. They got back to that idea in the last couple of years. I like that a lot better than the 90's version. It was just wrong. __________________

Superman was the last survivor of Krypton before the comic book writers invented Supergirl, Krypto the superdog, the Phantom Zone villains, etc. They really should revise that whole last surviving son of Krypton thing shouldn't they. __________________

yea, but they say over and over again about he is the last one of his kinda
*whoa* brainpower just started kicking in
kara was the one that came out of the wall right? in the season 4 finale??
i went to the episode guide at SMTV:
A MYSTERIOUS GIRL FROM KRYPTON COMES TO TAKE CLARK HOME - Things come to a head in Smallville when Kara, a beautiful girl (guest star Adrianne Palicki) with superpowers, who claims to be from Krypton, comes to entice Clark (Tom Welling) to fulfill his destiny. Overwhelmed, Clark turns to his parents (John Schneider, Annette O'Toole) for advice but is shocked when Kara forces Jonathan to finally reveal the deal he made with Jor-El. Also, Clark makes a discovery that ultimately redefines his relationship with Lex (Michael Rosenbaum), and Clark's relationship with Lana (Kristin Kreuk) takes a final turn.
Episode Highlights
The girl Kara in this episode turns out not to be from Krypton, but the original comic book version of Kara is Superman's cousin Supergirl from Krypton. In the 80's she was killed in the Crisis on Infinite Earth's mini series where the multi-verse was cut down to one Earth.
Recently Kara has been reintroduced to comics in Superman/Batman #8 written by none other than Smallville's Jeph Loeb.
hmmm...its all very confusing...
but in some way it kinda makes sense 4 him to be the last son of kypton, i mean kryptos not human, supergirl is a girl, and the 3 baddies well, have always been there and were banished so they dont count either __________________"Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.-Psalm 51:12

Supergirl comes from a neighbouring system of krypton. im not really sure the name of the planet. But she has all clarks powers, and is immune to kryptonite radiation since she did not come there.
I just bought roswell tv episodes, i reckon Katherine Heigle would have played a good Kara.

Actually, silly person, that was the season 3 finale. Season 4's finale was Clark graduating, the second meteor shower & Clark transported to the Arctic to form the Fortress. __________________"Immortality! Take it! It's yours!" ~ Brad Pitt (Achillies) - Troy

Supergirl=one of DC's biggest deaths during Crisis on Infinite Earths. Also, a pretty lousy film before comic movies were taken anything near seriously. Helen Slater was a cutey tho, and filled out costume nicely. __________________Beneath this mask is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea Mr Creedy and ideas are bulletproof.

Maybe they could introduce the real Kara in the last episode of Smallville so as to make a spinoff series. If they did that then the could have Tom, Michael, Kristen and Alison make guest appearences. I quite liked the 80's movie because it didn't take itself too seriously. I think they were thinking of making a new version with Melissa George in the lead role. I like Katherine Heigl as an actor but I wouldn't like her in the lead for supergirl because she smokes in real life which wouldn't set a good example. If they did make a spinoff series or a new movie I would prefer an unknown in either role for no other reason than to give someone their big break in hollywood but that is just my opinion.

Whether or not an actor or actress smokes doesn't affect their character, just every cell in their body and the noses of the people they're working with. You probably don't want to see her getting winded after running half a block, but she could still be that character.
Stupid habit-I'm one of the afflicted. __________________Beneath this mask is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea Mr Creedy and ideas are bulletproof.
