While I was posting on another subject on Jor-El it occurred to wouldn't it be aweseome if it turned out Jor-El was Zod this whole time, and was just trying to use Clark from the Phantom Zone. That would explain a lot, and what curve ball that would be!
I mean could there be a reason they chose Terence Stamp as Jor-El since he was Zod on the Superman movies? __________________
I like your thinking Tim , your thoery might explain why they have the cave in the first place and it being so accessable to everyone in smallville . Almost as though he was trying to expose Clarks secret .

A curious way of looking at it, Tim. Given the way the storyline is unfolding you may be onto something.

Where's your sense of drama smallville21? Don't you think it would be cool if they threw in something we weren't expecting like Jor-El really being Zod? __________________
I think that would be pretty sweet. __________________

smallville21, what do you mean the only person close to Marlon Brando's Jor-El, I mean they could have chosen any half descent actor from the USA, England, Canada or Australia to do the voice if that is all they wanted. I don't know if Tim id right or not but if they were going to bring Jor-El to life at any stage then it would displease a lot of superman fans to see one of his greatest screen villians playing his father. I think that Miles and Alfred have a big plot twist coming in the storyline somewhere with regards to this scenario playing its way out.

One things for sure Zod was a pretty cool character to not get revisited in some form on the television or movie screen.

Very nice Tim, but if they are going to bring Zod to life in Smallville then the big question is will they use Terence Stamp for the role. I mean they are using his voice but right now he would look too old to play the same part he did 20 odd years ago. Maybe they will dye his hair black and "remove" a few wrinkles, hey.

Sure, it's not set in stone Zod has to look like the exact same character that he did back in the 70's. Stamp looks even more menacing now. __________________
well i think it would be weird to me but it probaley will boost raitings for show and on them picking terence(zod)for jor-el because he was closes to marlons jor-el i was just thinking to my self i thought they might want someone from dick donners film in smallville and he would have been my choice,or i still thinking outside the box what if they would have used the late chris reeves voice as jor-el that would have been cool

Using Chris' voice would be cool and yet not cool depends on if people think it might be hurtful to his family. I guess that depends on how much time has passed from his death.
People are pretty sensitive when it comes to Christopher Reeve, and I can understand why do the the tragic nature of his passing.
How about good old Dean Cain playing Jor-El on Smallville? __________________
that would be pretty sweet, I like that idea. __________________

Well if Dean is going to play Jor-El, and I like that idea too, then who will take over the role of Dr Swann. Maybe Gerard Christopher or John Haymes-Newton because they both have the right look about them. If they do choose either of them then I wonder if they will have some kryptonian thing or Jor-El even get him to walk again.

They acted like Dr. Swann had died on one episode last season, and then they killed off his assistant (kidder). Margot Kidder gave them a hard time about a episode dealing with Reeve's character having died so they had her character killed. __________________
Oops, I guess she should have kept her mouth shut, hey? I really would like to see them all, Dean & John & Gerard, make an appearence at some time before the show runs out of storylines. I mean they played the character well enough to warrant a mention, don't you think?

yeah that would be cool for everybody to get a cameo. Maybe have the two superboys on at the same time. Perhaps give that episode a comic twist. Maybe they could be brothers or even play kryptonians.
I wish superboy would go out on dvd. __________________
What Tim like the Macquade brothers in 21 Jump Street. They were always funny, Johnny Depp and Peter DeLuise, in those roles.

Man it's been so long since I saw that show I don't even remember that. Whatever happened to that guy Richard Grieco who played Booker on 21 jumpstreet?
He was making big movies and then poof disappeared.
You know I'm sure the writers of Smallville could come up with some great stuff for all the ex superboy actors and Dean Cain. The superboy actors definitely I think need an episode that plays outside the box. I think Smallville could use a couple of humourous episodes. Usually the comedy is just thrown in a little here and there. They need an all out comedy episode. __________________
I don't know what happened to Richard Grieco I think I saw him in a B grade action flick at the video store last year and thought, wow, I haven't seen him for years. I think the writers will keep it under wraps for as long as they can when they do decide to put any of them on the show because they know that the fans will tune in to see what part they are playing and not really worry about the rest of the episode. I can't wait to see any of them pop up in the show somewhere.

although terrece stamp plyed zod in superman 1 & 2, and the voice of jo-el in smallville i dont think they'll end up being the same cause brainiac tried to destry the fortess of solitude, if jor-el was zod he wouldnt have tried to destro it.

(shocked) By God, you just might be right. One thing still bugs me: According to Jor-el, Zod's body was destroyed in the Phantom Zone so he couldn't escape. If that's true, how do you explain him being fully corporialized in the Superman movies?? __________________
sadly i don't care about anyone but chloe...everyone else can die lol, well i'm just worried about her cuz all the characters i like will live anyway: lois, clark, cuz they're the main characters duh.

I didn't catch that about Zod's body being destroyed. If that's the way they are putting it on Smallville that would be a new one. __________________
