On September 4 2006 the closest thing the animals of this world had to a superhero who fought for their cause died. His name was Steve Irwin and although I never made the trip up to Australia Zoo to see Steve live in person his legacy will live on forever. I watched his memorial service was this morning(local time) and it was very sad to know that such a great human being is no longer with us to help protect the animals of this planet. CRIKEY! Long live the ideas he envoked and I think that we should all start envoking them to not only animals but all people aswell. He made you want to be outdoors with nature.
