Well we have the worst superhero list so I thought what about the best superhero list in your own opinion.
1. Superman The Movie
2. Batman Begins and Batman Forever
3. Superman II
4. Superman Returns
5. Spiderman I and II
6. X-Men I, II and III
7. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles I, II and III (there's a new one out in March)
8. Blade Trilogy
9. The Punisher (with Tom Jane)
10. Fanastic Four (sequel out next year)

Ok I love making lists but my list is probably never the exact same list every time. But here goes my favorites off the top of my head. Keep in my mind it's early in the morning and I'm on allergy medicine.

1. Superman
2. Spiderman
3. Spiderman 2
4. Superman II - I could say this one was my alltime favorite when I look at how much I loved it as a child but comparing it to recent stuff like Spiderman it's a little dated. So this was a tough call.
5. Daredevil - I like it despite the critics. It's one of those I like to pop into the DVD player while I run on the tread mill. Great music and keeps a fast pace.

6. X-men 3 - Can't wait to get the DVD Saw at the theatre. It's the best one out of the 3 in my opinion.

7. Superman Returns - I need to see this one again when it comes to DVD to make final judgements. The plane scene was really awesome too much yacking though.

8. Hulk - great Hulk scenes but suffered from a little too much yacking.

9. Batman Begins loved it!

10. Fantastic Four - very funny stuff.

Like I said ask me tomorrow and I might have a slightly different list. I'm moody.

Whoops forgot about Superman 3 less than great ending but the fight between Superman and his evil self made it a lot of fun plus all loved the fact he was back in Smallville.

I like all those movies Kal although I wouldn't rate Superman 4 quite as high though. It's good because it's a Superman movie and Christopher Reeve and Gene Hackman are on it, but it definitely wasn't near as good as the first 3.

I haven't seen the directors cut of Daredevil. How much footage is added in? Why do you they put out different versions on DVD? Shouldn't all versions be on one DVD?

Why should they make money off you once? Director's cut, collected box sets, Collector's edition, limited edition, anniversary editions. It never ends.

The director's cut of Daredevil is an actual 'director's cut'-it's done the way the director wanted it-some things are actually removed to give it the right tone(closer to the actual comic).

By the by.....Noone liked Unbreakable?

Two things I don't understand:

Some say "Spider-Man 2" is the greatest comic book superhero movie ever.  I really got into the first one emotionally, but the second one left me kind of cold.  Though I do like watching the last half hour with audio commentary.

I don't know why people hate "Daredevil."  I thought it was an above average action flick, and I liked the tortured hero angle.

Hated "Hulk!"  But I own it on DVD so I can watch the good action scenes and skip all the stupidity.

You are right. I loved the Daredevil movie. I think the hate is the comic book geeks version of being snoody. So they picked Daredevil to knock.

I own them all on DVD. I liked the Hulk, but if it had skipped a lot of the slow portions I would have been happier. The action scenes are great for the most part, and should have been expanded or shortened the other boring parts.

The Hulk origin was screwed up. Here it was a major motion picture..finally an opportunity to see the Hulk's origin Gamma Bomb and all in it's full glory and what it turns out to be a lab accident that was lame in comparison to the TV show.

Loved both Spider-Mans, I guess the first one was a little better.

Yes, that lab accident was lame.

Actually it was his dad's experiments that created the Hulk-the accident just unleashed what was growing inside already. The most gripage I heard was how 'fake' Hulk looked- like they had some personal frame of reference to compare it to. I thought Ang Lee did a great job and we do have the sequel to look forward to if not an actual Avengers movie.

I'm looking forward to the Ghost Rider movie and live action Transformers. I'll postpone making my actual list until I see them.

Well, here is something really off the wall for ya--I have "Flash Gordon" ( you can buy it now as a DVD. which I have for sale. I think he was also a comic book Super Hero.  The movie is very "tongue-in cheek" and "campy" which makes it fun to watch. Flash seems almost gay in it. I think it was made in the late 1980s.Nutty and retro--I like stuff like that. Nostalgia is my thing. I think the first real "Flash" was a movie/comic in the 1920s??? Pre Superman. I have seen  the comics too in my digging thru stuff to sell.  It (DVD)sells pretty well.  I can probably get $15-20 for it towards me getting Smallville Season 2. Just thought I'd mention it.  Can that qualify as a "Super-Hero" or only DC Comics? I did like the movie. Just mentioning it as something different.

Yeah I know But its a Superman movie and has Christopher Reeve and Gene Hackman and Yes the SFX were bad, but I still will like it and part of my fave movies of course they are alot more Superhero movies out there.

As for the directors cut of Daredevil

a director's cut of the film was released on DVD. This version added 30 minutes of footage not seen in the original, including an entire subplot involving Murdock defending a murder suspect played by rapper Coolio. It won a large following that was disappointed with the initial theatrical release. Director Mark Steven Johnson has claimed the scenes were cut in favor of a PG-13 rating.

A friend of mine doesn't like Ben Affleck. He saw the PG-13 version of Daredevil and didn't like it. When I showed him the director's cut he said he needed to pick it up on dvd. He also liked Ben in Hollywoodland and he said those two movies that Ben did he liked.

For more info just click on this link for more info on the Director's cut on Daredevil.

Nanni, if you liked Flash Gordon you really must watch Barbarella and you might enjoy Logan's Run.
