How come nobody remembers that Clark ran into the tornado and flew to Whitneys truck to save Lana in the begining of season 2? He told his dad that it felt like he "willed" himself towards the truck. Sounds like flying to me. He just didn't know that he could fly and doesn't know for sure if thats what he did.

I am guessing, carl, because at that time all the fans new where his powers were eventually going to take him but Clark didn't realise where his powers will go.

Clark also found himself floating above his bed in one of the early episodes.

The only episode that I've never seen is the first one of season 4 where he actually does fly. Does he remember flying after becoming Clark again? Does anyone tell him about it? If he doesn't remember then surely he noticed that Jor-El was flying in the episode Relic and that he could possibly fly one day to.

Yes Tim he was dreaming about flying to Lana's place then floating above Lana's bed but when he awoke he was in his own room, very funny. I think deep in his psyche he always knew he could fly it was just a matter of time before that power came through.

The big question is when will Clark start flying on a permanent basis, and will he ever get the suit while on Smallville.
You have to wonder how the very last episode will play out. Will they at that time finally reveal his costume?

I think from time to time when he has a long distance to travel he will fly but otherwise I think he will just run at superspeed like he has been doing so far in the series. I think that to get from the farm into town he will run but from the farm or town to Metropolis he will fly. Maybe they will put him in Chris' suit in the very last episode.

i hope he ends up wearing the suit for series finale episode later down the line.(i was thinking of perfect ending some how he will end up in fortress of solitude and jor-el will tell him his desinty and it will show him in suit and he will fly toward camara and show will officaly end perfect if i do say so.

Yeah sounds like a pretty good ending smallville21.

he was floating in metamorphisis(season 1), then sorta flew in vortex(season 2) then he kept waking up everywhere, mightve flown there.

Well about the flying subject. The first time Clark Flew or Levitated or any thing was in Season one with the dream about Lana, His mom Bustyed in and woke him up making him face plant on his bed and brake him. He was late to school that day making Pete win a bet with Clhoe. Later on in the Episode Clark talked to his father about it Mr. Kent says " When you start braking the laws of Gravity I think we are introuble."

u espanol? or maybe francoise? just kidding!!! i am just a spelling freak!!!

There is another time he flew, but it was in his dream, He flew to the cave in his dream, when he woke up he was in the cave, then another time he woke up in the middle of the street when lex almost hit him, both times most likly he flew there but it was while he was sleeping.

Alias it is ok I hate spelling correctly. No not really I just suck at it. LOL. Any ways.
Posted:  29 Dec 2005 22:07

No they never really explained the whole thing about Clarks lfying episodes I think it was left for use to make out own conclusions.
Posted:  30 Dec 2005 00:57
i agree.  the writers and directors most likely left it (the explanation) out intentionally because they felt it was implied by the technique they used to tell those parts of the story.  and its fun to give the audience freedom to interpret the "how" and "why".

oh and i dont know if this counts, but in smallville 1961, jor-el, played by tom welling, flew.  so i guess if we just wanted to know how many times tom flew this would be another.

didnt he fly to the caves that one time and lex found him?

i dunno, isn't that when he was knocked out from putting the key in the wall? but there was that time when lex almost ran over him
Posted:  08 Jan 2006 00:02
i think that Kal-El flew before Clark because in crusade clarks dad asks him that his mother said he can fly but clark says that Kal-El can fly clark is still earthbound
Posted:  08 Jan 2006 00:11
i know this is a stupid question but does anyone know when smallville starts in England
Posted:  08 Jan 2006 04:14
hey clark also flew in season three (in a helicopter when he was looking for the lab where they were holding adam) but hey he still flew right?
Posted:  13 Jan 2006 03:09
