SF1, if you liked my vids, check out this one!! I did not make this one, but you've gotta love how they matched up the video clips to the song!! Sorry to rattle on, but after spending so much time trying to put these kinds of videos together, I can really appreciate all the work this person put into the project!!
The Bible is so powerful. It's not to be left on your shelf. It's to outline even the simplest scriptures that can mean so much in building yourself up.
"I am God's workmanship." (Ephesians 2:10)
"I have been redeemed and forgiven." (Colossians 1:14)
"I am the salt and the light of the earth." (Matthew 5:13-14)
Interesting, but definately not my kind of music. __________________

I like it. I love that song by Johnny Cash. It's like so dark it's cool, but very depressing which the life of Lex Luthor isn't exactly happy so it fits. Good clips from Lex's childhood. Makes you feel sorry for the old diseased maniac.
You ever wonder why everyone wants to get rich, but so many that are rich live miserable lives? __________________

Thanks Tim!! I can tell I'm getting old, it took me nearly a day to remember what episode the clips I used at the end of the video were in!! Yeah, you cannot go wrong with Johnny Cash!! That song just seemed to fit Lex's story to the "T".

That's easy, everyone seems to equate being rich to being happy. However, you cannot buy happiness and the rich spend their lives trying to figure this out. __________________

Well I had family member go into a real heavy depression 2 years ago and she was a mental ward for 7 months and when they asked her to describe what she was feeling, she said to her therapists "Listen to the song Tourniquet by Evanscence and you will understand what is going through my head." She was attemping sucide 3 times before they brought her in. The first was at home, the second was out in public, the third was at her school. After the school one, her parents couldn't take it no more, so they brought her in. I only got to visit her 5 times in the 7 months that she was there. She looked so sad. It still makes me cry. They claim she is better and is doing alot of approvement, but I still see that sadness every once in a while when I see her. She is very special to me and I still don't understand why she got soo bad.
Thanks, but I'm always worried that she will try again and might get into the land of the dead. I just can't bare to see her go or I don't think I can even let her go. I really hope that she can find true happiness, besides from me and a few other family members.
I remembered putting this in here and well it's the reason why I haven't slept. She killed herself for good, she died on St. Patrick's day. She commited sucide. According to my mom who got the phone call from hers, she took a butcher knife and cut her throat while her mom and her dad went out real quick to get decorations for the small party they were going to have. They came home to her dead with blood coming from the neck. Oh God I'am so sorry to to put this in, but I figured you would ask why I haven't been sleeping. I don't even want to imagin what that would have looked like. I can't sleep because of the way it sounds. I thought she was doing better. I saw her 2 weeks ago and she seemed happy. But I guess I was very wrong. I'am so sorry to tell you all this, but I really have nowhere else to turn because my friends won't even give me words of wisdom cause they don't know what to say. My parent's don't know what to tell me either except that she was sick and needed more help. Which wasn't true, I thought she was fine and better. I mean yeah I saw the sadness but I thought I took most of it away. At least I got to hear her voice on the Promise episode. she called and said "I saw you, you looked so beautiful." We had a good hour and half conversation. I think I understand what she means by "Don't change who you are, keep entertaining and have fun." I guess she really was saying goodbye. I guess now she really is in the land of the dead. I'am sorry I have to quit talking about it because Im crying so much that it's making my eyes burn. But I would like any words of comfort you can offer.

SF1, I am so sorry!!! I remember you posting the information before about this same relative. Forgive me, I do not remember what thread it was on, but I remember relating to you in that my cousin commited suicide a while back.
Although words cannot begin to ease the sorrow of your loss, please know that you are in the prayers of so many who care.
I pray that you will find comfort in the following verses:
"...Thy merciful kindness be for my comfort...." PSALM 119:76
"Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me will live, even though he dies.'" JOHN 11:25
"Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort." II CORINTHIANS 1:3
May God's love guide you during this time of sorrow and may you find solice in his care. Please know that you and your family are in my prayers. Also, my e-mail address is in my profile. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. __________________

I know you're not looking forward to the funeral tomorrow, but I know you'll do a great job!! Funerals are also helpful in that we get to share our grief with others and find support from our loved ones. They also offer a chance for closure to a painful event. May I ask how old she was?
