SF1, don't know when you'll get back to the msg board, but I got this in my positive minute e-mail and I thought it most beneficial:
Quote: Follow the Leader -VI
By Robert H. Schuller
"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." -Hebrews 13:8
Jesus said:
"I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down his life for the sheep." -John 10:11
"I am the door. If anyone enters in by Me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find green pastures." -John 10:9
"I am the Bread of Life. No one coming to me will ever be hungry again. Those believing in Me will never thirst." -John 6:35
"I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in me and I in him shall produce a large crop of fruit." -John 15:5
"I am the resurrection and life. Anyone who believes in me, even though he dies like anyone else, shall live again." -John 11:25
"I have come as a Light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness." -John 12:46
* * *
Thank you, Jesus, for revealing Yourself in a way we all understand. __________________The Bible is so powerful. It's not to be left on your shelf. It's to outline even the simplest scriptures that can mean so much in building yourself up.

I tried making a video from Clark's POV with this one. I used Snow Patrol's "You Could Be Happy". __________________The Bible is so powerful. It's not to be left on your shelf. It's to outline even the simplest scriptures that can mean so much in building yourself up.

They do that a lot nowadays. Sometimes you are lucky to hear a song from a movie soundtrack playing at the very end of the movie credits. __________________

I'm not so good good at comforting, so I guess the best thing I can say is that you should remember the good times with her and always remember. If you love her, then she'll never really have died. She's still alive inside of you.

Quote: Hey everyone, sorry i have been gone there for a little while, I just kinda needed a little time to get myself together here. The funeral was so hard to talk at and being able to say that she wanted to end her life for her reasons was so hard to read out loud to our family and friends. She did give me one final letter of my very own, that is really special. it is just so hard to move on without her. I thank you though dharvey for words of wisdom from the bible, they were perfect.
Quote:
No problem! Remember God loves you and so do I!
Thank you so much I still can't stop crying im sorry.
Quote:
May I ask how old she was?
She was only a year older then me 23.
Quote:
Keep Strong SF1...and again may you feel God's hand of comfort!
I thank you Scaper as well for your kindness. both you and Dharvey, words can't express my graditude. I thank you both for giving me God's great hand to hold on to. SF1, it is wonderful to see you posting again, I keep you and your family in my prayers as y'all go through this difficult time. Losing a loved one is never easy, but we are fortunate to have a kind and loving God that will see us through any pain. You need not apologize for crying, it is a perfectly normal part of the grieving process. The hard part about all this, is time, I remember when my cousin committed suicide it seemed like the pain would never go away. However, as scaper said earlier, you just have to give yourself time. God DOES have a plan for all of us and I encourage you to turn to him during all this, I know He will give you peace and comfort!! Also, as scaper said, spend time with your friends, they'll want to cheer you up (that's what friends are for)!!
Quote: SF1...My heart goes out to you, I can not imagine the loss and hurt you must feel. It's very tragic. Regarding God in such tragedy it's hard to understand how these things happen. We have our free will and choice to make our own decisions and sometimes those choices really hurt other people. Yet even through those times of hurt God forgives and is also there to help guide us through those tough times. Sometimes it's not till years later and we look back in time do we see that these trying times have been the points in our lives that have made us become the better person we are to become. In short my prayers are with you, I really can't not even put myself in your shoes as I have never experienced your pain. But keep strong and perservere. You've got friends and one is looking down on you from above!!!

Or can you say? __________________The Bible is so powerful. It's not to be left on your shelf. It's to outline even the simplest scriptures that can mean so much in building yourself up.
