Jonathan has had all these health problems since he took on Kryptonian powers in "Exile". He had a heart attack surgery everything. I have read that by the end of the series he will die as he has in most incarnations of the Superman Mythology and I assume it will be related to his health problems that came from the short time he had powers. So my question is Jor-El clearly has the power to heal almost anything, as he's done for Martha and Clark, why doesn't Clark tell Jor-El that in order for him to do what he asks, as in training, finding the crystals and so on, he first has to cure Jonathan of all health problems that resulted from having super-powers. That's what I would do. What do you guy's think? Unless it's changed recently he should still be alive. You'll notice in this panel from this recent Superman/Batman Jonathan and Martha are shown to be a lot younger when Clark arrives. In fact it appears the artist even tried to make them look more like the Kents from Smallville - John Schneider and O'Toole You might find this page interesting.
