"Gone With The Wind" memorabilia will be auctioned next month at the Gone With the Wind Hall of Stars Museum in Barnesville, Ga.
The museum is an antebellum mansion owned by "GWTW" actor Fred Crane, or Brent Tarleton, half of the film's Tarleton twins, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution said.
Up for bid will be autographed items by stars Vivien Leigh, Clark Gable, Olivia de Havilland, Butterfly McQueen and Leslie Howard, along with memorabilia from other stars like Oscar-winner Hattie McDaniel. A first edition of Margaret Mitchell's novel, originally given as a gift by the author to then-Georgia Gov. E.D. Rivers, is also being sold.
Alligator dress shoes and cuff links owned by "Superman" actor George Reeves are probably the oldest items on the block, Crane said. Originally credited as George Bessolo, Reeves played the other Tarleton twin. Crane and Reeves struck up a lifelong friendship.
