Got issue 659 of Superman in the mail yesterday. It's a departure from the Arion dude from Atlantist storyline. It only mentions him twice in the whole story.
It's not a earth shaking world destruction kind of book, but it's actually not a bad little story.
It's about a old lady that mistakes Superman for an Angel. Superman tunes into her voice because he fears for the old lady's safety. The old lady prays to God everytime she sees a crime going down, so Superman shows up just in the nick of time to save her.
It has a nice ending. It kind of reminds me of Touched by An Angel or Highway to Heaven episode only Superman isn't an Angel. You get the feeling there is more at work here than just Superman.
