Well, Jerry made it safely from Pennsylvania to ole South Carolins - about 700 miles. Not too shabby for a 35 year old truck. BTW, the truck got a grand 5.4 miles per gallon running unleaded gas, of course the 500 gallon water tank you can run was empty!! __________________

Okay, I finally got to go through our old photo albums and scanned some pages of the place from the late 70s early 80s that shows the cows and horses we had.
Sorry for the picture quality, but they didn't have the digital cameras back then!! EH!?! __________________

Err, the pictures are in SOUTH Carolina!! It snows every once it a great while. I rememeber Mom talking about them having to wait a couple of days in the hospital the year I was born as Florence had been hit with a big snow storm. Yep, Mom's holding me in that old picture, LOL!! __________________

Yeah I really hate being Canadian and not having frozen ponds to skate on, or having White Christmas's
I mean isn't that like paradoxal or something like that?
Since 1900 Victoria has had 8 white Christmas's. __________________

I was not able to find the pictures of me riding Bama (our Appaloosa) when I was a kid the last time I was home. However, my Mom kept looking and finally came across a few, and she e-mailed them to me. I think both of these were taken in 1990 (*whistles* 17 years ago!!)
I sure miss ole Bama, she was my brother's, Jerry, horse and died at about 30 some years of age (which is pretty good for a horse) from colic. I need to see if I can find some place around here that rents out horses to ride. __________________

Ah, they're in a safe place!! Well, that's what I always say when I cannot remember where I put something!! __________________

That would be cool!! I know folks would get a kick out of seeing the pics you sent me of the animals you saw on your last fishing trip. I'm looking forward to seeing pics of those cedars you've been planting. My folks planted a cedar they used for a Christmas tree years ago, and it is well over 12 ft tall today!! __________________

My brother, Gerry, sent me a video he took today of them working with the fire engine back home in SC. It looks like he, Jerry, Jeffrey (my other two brothers), and my Dad had good weather for working today. I took the video into Windows Movie Maker and overlayed the song "Clocks" by Coldplay to give it a background.

I love that Fire Engine... So cool. I still think David should take it for a cruise down to Miami while wearing the yellow suspenders and a fire hat!!!

Hey Bob, I don't know about driving that monster down to Miami, maybe over to Myrtle Beach, hey!! Anyhow, my brother Gerry has friends where he works that found out he had gotten a fire engine. So, they bought him a fire fighter's get-up that he left at the farm/ranch on his last trip back home. Here's a picture of "Fireman Ted" a.k.a. Dad with the fireman's hat that we already had:

LOL!!! Bob, you would not believe the number times I've gotten this reaction - - when I've told them how old my parents are!!!
Yup, my Mom was 42 and my Dad was 43 when I was born back on February 28, 1980. BTW Bob, it snowed a regular blizzard that year in Florence, SC!!
I guess my Dad and I had your typical love/hate relationship growing up!!
Here's a picture we submitted to have run in the local newspaper last year for Mom and Dad's 50th wedding anniversary:
