I just checked in for a moment. My son is taking us out for a movie.. I agree with you Tim about an honest debate and discussion over disagreements. THAT can be stimulating.. When the other individual is just fishing and prodding, using innuendo, looking for ways to provoke a rise, or poke holes in your logic, it becomes a bore. I'm not a young hot head and see through those tactics. When you can't even agree to disagree without the other party continuing that kind of behavior. It becomes downright funny. It's still boring, but it becomes a something to laugh at. That's all I have to say on the subject of debating opposing views. Got to go. I have no idea what movie we're seeing.. Take care. |
