Superman was at his strongest during the silver age 60's Pre-Crisis era. He got an "upgraded" so to speak. Then Post-Crisis his abilities were reduced.

We're gunna need a different type of question, that, or a much harder one.
Here's an idea:
Try E-mailing us a series of 5 or 10 superman related questions. Whoever answer the most correctly wins. make the entry date a certain time. That way it stays fair. __________________"As long as you question your sanity, you will still have it." ~ Nightshade

We'll come up with something. Maybe we can use that for a tie breaker. Still waiting on final word with like all the details from WB company. They usually tell me a date to start, and a date to end. I guess I'm jumping the gun a little bit, but this question thing is fun.
I didn't think you all would know the answers so easily. __________________

I did not necessarily *know* the answers to the questions, but I did know how to look up the answers on the internet. I agree though, it was fun!! __________________The Bible is so powerful. Then the real trick is to post questions that the answers can't be looked up. Good luck. __________________Beneath this mask is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea Mr Creedy and ideas are bulletproof.

True, but that would be tricky if Tim wants you to site the source of your answer. __________________The Bible is so powerful. It's not to be left on your shelf. Well if you know the answer off the top of your head, then I wouldn't expect you to site a source. I think it's a good idea though just in case your source was in question. __________________

What Tim said.
If you actually know this stuff, then there wouldn't be a 'source'. Being that this appeared to be a trivia contest, the answers shouldn't have been looked up at all.
As for my participation, I didn't care a bit about Superman outside of the Richard Donner films until Smallville came to TV. Now I know a few things but it couldn't possibly compare to what a longtime reader should know.
As for a question that the answer probably can't be looked up to;
In the movie '2001:A Space Odyssey' the computer is named HAL. Where did the film-makers get the name? __________________Beneath this mask is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea Mr Creedy and ideas are bulletproof.

The story has it that the name HAL was chosen because each letter is just one step ahead of IBM. However, this is pure coincidence, and in fact the first incarnations of the computer had a woman's voice and was called "Athena," goddess of wisdom. When someone pointed out the spurious association between HAL and IBM, Kubrick wanted to change the computer's name and refilm the scenes but was dissuaded because of production costs. For the record, HAL comes from "Heuristically programmed ALgorithmic" computer.

Too, too much of an answer Aero. One step above IBM would've sufficed....sheesh. Obvious to me you looked this up. So I guess my new mission for the time being is to find a question that can't just be googled.

Try this Aero;
Name each of the three subjects by the important number associated with it.
A book with the number 42, a TV show with the number 108, and a movie with the number 37.
It's a strong possibility you'll get one, a definite maybe for two but no way all three.
Good Luck. __________________Beneath this mask is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea Mr Creedy and ideas are bulletproof.

This one was tough.
Book with 42 is obviously Hitchhiker's Guide to the galaxy.
TV Show with the number 108 is Lost where the numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, and 42 all add up to 108, and they had to enter in the code ever 108 minutes or...(I haven't seen season 3 yet and I don't plan to till it comes out on DVD)
And the Movie assoiciated with the number 37 could be a few things, tell me if one of them is right.
- MIB where a galactic (or was it Centaurian?) standard week was 37 hours.
- That movie called Clerks, there was something 37 in it but forgot exactly what.
- Or Gravity 37 which was a Compilation Video

Hitch-hikers guide, correct. So long and thanks for the fish.
Lost, absolutely. I won't ruin it for you but Locke made sure nobody has to punch anything in that computer or Mikhail's computer anymore. Season 3 will be out in December.
Yes, one of those is right, but you don't know which or why. It refers to something quite perverse which I did on purpose to try and keep you from googling it(or whichever search you use). It was Clerks (there was also mention of it as a comic title in his later flick Chasing Amy) and it refers to the number of times Dante's girlfriend did something.
I will try again to find something that can't be searched(at least not so easily) but would qualify as trivia just the same. I hope other people are doing the same. __________________Beneath this mask is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea Mr Creedy and ideas are bulletproof.
