Guys and gals who is the best artist you've ever seen draw a Superman comic?
Here's a list of my favorite in no particular order.
John Byrne
George Perez
Curt Swan
Alex Ross
Jim Lee __________________

I am an artist myself and I like to do my own it's much more fun. I think everyone should try to draw him just once. I haven't drawn a picture of superman for many now but I did one back in 1989 for my school magazine which turned out pretty good, so my friends told me.

I think Jim Lee is coming to the end of his run. He is definitely not as good without Scott Williams inking his work. But I think that Turner equally overrated.
I'd have to say that John Byrne was the best. I like Alex Ross, but sometimes he makes Supes look 60 years old... and fat.

I'm sure I'm the minority here, but I always loved Jon Bogdanove's work.

Wayne Boring and I forget his name he used to draw Superman with a VERY LARGE CHEST as you can see I'm going back to the 1950s and 60s.
Point in fact the second guy was the only one to also draw SuperBoy from time to time. He draw the 1950s story where ROBIN went back in time and teamed with Superboy.
Wayne drew a two part novel "Superman meets or VS the Futuremen", a story which had Superman write a letter where he told his origin and left out the Superboy part.
