I went to a big book sale in the pouring rain, so at least I am off the couch.
Yes, I have seen "It's a Mad, mad, World many times--They end up lookng for the treasure under the Golden Arches--Mc Donalds. U R right, a whole bunch of famous faces in there! I watch it whenever it is on. It was so screwy and nuts, but a laugh classic!
So there you are---snow and you don't have to go to Whistler. I have a friend up there right now as a matter of fact. I have never been, but was invited for this weekend, buy OMG the Dr. said it is the flight that did this to my ear so I will drive anywhere I want to go from now on!!(Fluid behind my eardrum from pressure. My ear is somewhat, a little better tho I think.
Thanks again for caring.

It's too bad you didn't go to whistler. Believe it or not even though it's right next door to me, I've never been either. I'll probably go to see some of the Winter Olympics at 2010. But I should probably go before then all the photos I've seen, seems so beautiful, all my friends tell me to go too. I've had so many invites to go skiing at Whistler but have opted out.
Do you ski? or Snowboard? Sounds like your an active girl, that's awesome! Rock Climbing, Snowboarding, chocolate eating competitions!!!
Anyways if you're ever up this way you should let me know we could have lunch or something. David is coming up here in the Spring! If they don't stop him at the boarder he's kinda the suspsicious type U know!
Anyways I'm glad your ears doing better. They say you should never fly when you have a cold. Problem is sometimes you don't know you have one in the early stages and you get what happened to you. Same with Scuba Diving...very dangerous!
Well, Keep well! __________________

So interesting... if you don't ski or snowboard, what would you have done if you went to whistler? Curious! Maybe you'd try it hey! Well if your up in whistler and your going to try and call me from the top of the mountain you better yell pretty darn hard, I'm an island away!
Hey talking about sports, The NFL Superbowl is in your neck of the woods are you going to the game? OR are you taking in any of the festivities down there? That would be a blast! That would also make D.MAn jealous too.
by the way, I'm right here! 2 funny! __________________

I don't do snow and ice. Not my "thing"
I wouldn't be going to Whistler, he might have had oysters on the brain. Kidding
It was suggested that we offer rooms for rent, those of us with houses, to accomodate the fans. I declined.
I am not "sporty" so am not going. It is a huge event tho.

Oh, so that's why I haven't heard anything back from my application to the CIA!!

I'm gonna say this one more time, then I'm going to start printing bumper stickers, I don't eat seafood!! Yuck!! As a matter of fact, with my food allergies (and my new aggresive diet), I really don't eat that much anyhow!!. __________________

This is getting so funny! Crazy but funny....Thanks for the laughs! HAHAHAHA.
Too many funny comments to comment on. Anyways I wasn't suggesting you come up to whistler with us..hahaha. In fact I don't even think David as a specific time he's coming up. And I don't even think we talked about going to Whistler. Hmmm interesting... I guess I meant if you're ever up this way visiting, you should let me know. However if anyone wants to come up and do a tour with us, they are more than welcome. The oysters on the brain...oh my that made me laugh so hard! Wow.... I'm actually still laughing.
I wondered about the freezing rock climbing experience how you'd fair snowboarding this weekend. However Whistler supposedly is quite beautiful during the summer. My friends went up there last year. He said it was the best place to visit. I was kinda suprised but when he showed me his photos it looked really nice. My friends took rollerblades with them and found a cool place to blade around whistler. Anyways one of these days I have to drag my but up there, pretty sad being a B.C. boy and all. Actually that's pretty bad! hahahha. Oh well, what can you do.
Shadow,
I'm surprised your not taking in at least some of the Super Bowl festivities. I'm sure it's crazy down there right now.
I can't help it but I'm still laughing at that oysters on the brain...That's hilarious!
Anyways David regarding your visiting...do you have a specific day your visiting your Brother? Or is it just a possiblity thing? I hope you can make it up here, we'll have a blast! Would you fly or drive? You can email me if you want.
Wow, that was really funny! __________________

Well, its a code (oysters)in case there ever are families and kids on here. LOL!
D-A-V-I-D, I cannot eat sea-food. I ate something in an egg roll once and I had to go to the ER. There is nothing I like in oceans, but maybe seaweed, I might eat that, I heard it is really good for you, but in pill form. Well, I might chew some up. It smells good to me. I must lack something. Hummmm.
So, we sure do agree on that. I would never want to ski, for sure I would break something. I just know I would. I don't seem to like any sport, but the indoor rock climbing is fun occasionally to get the kinks out.Don't wannbe kinky!! Nope!I am not planning on having any part of the goings on here. I simply hate crowds. I never join in anything like that. Not even July 4th. Altho a few years I have sat of people's rooftops and watched, but never in a crowd. That is fireworks I am talking about. A loner I hav always been.
Well, have a good night. I just had 3 Advil for the ear. I am better.
Oh! Did you think I was thinking of joining you and D-A-V-I-D?( and go to Whistler??) Hadn't crossed my mind. That would be nervy of me. I must have twisted my wording or something. Imagine me just showing up with you guys. Just like that!!

I wasn't sure what you meant to be honest... now that I read what I wrote I came off kinda rude. I didn't mean to write that I wouldn't want you to come , just that I didn't originally intend to write it in that way......Yikes...now I've put my foot in my mouth, see ! Stupid me! Anyways you'd be more than welcome to join us, if you'd feel comfortable meeting us! It'd be a lot of fun, though I'd understand if you'd be too uncomfortable to do so. Anyways ...I'm stopping before I make a total dutz of myself...Ie yi yie...
Smell of Seaweed Maybe you like the seaweed smell cause you're not use to being near the ocean. I love the smell of the ocean. It's so refreshing and healing. I need to go to the beach more actually!!!
Quote: I simply hate crowds. I never join in anything like that. Not even July 4th.
I like certain celebrations, like when they have Canada Day here. It's fun. But generally speaking I'm not one for big crowds either. I find that I'm very sensitive to peoples energies. I so easily pick up peoples thoughts, feelings and emotions. That may sound strange but if I'm around crowds of people too long it can really drain me. Though for big events it's fun. I'm more of a intimate person. I like one on one, or smaller quiter groups.
Anyways Shadow, I really hope you feel better. Sorry if I made an Ass of myself...I can do that sometimes!!!
Cheers,

Shadowland, you don't have to type out "D-A-V-I-D" everytime you address something I said!! Again, I was just giving Scaper a bad time!! Please just type what you'd like, a lot of people just type dh - it's short, quick to type, I don't know. I just feel bad that you seem to think that you have to type my name out like that!!

Congrats Scaper!! You really stepped in it!! Well, at least I know I'm not alone in my affinity for messing up!! LOL!!

Well, I'll let you know. It kind of depends on my next assignment, and if I wind up going back to Albany in April. Also, it depends on how settled in my brother and his family are. Randall still has to travel back and forth b/w Virginia and Idaho. __________________

I'm in a good mood just got done doing some work outside. The freeze stopped for now. It's up to 60 degrees. __________________
