Karen Allen will return in the 4th Indiana Jones film(now shooting).
John Carpenter writing a sequel to Big Trouble in Little China.
Superman:Man of Steel is slated to film next year and Kevin Spacey will return as Lex Luthor.
Warne Bro's have let their option on Conan the Barbarian lapse leaving the right owners, Paradox Entertainment, shopping him around. New Line may nab him.
Comics scene
Director Zack Snyder has his cinematic Watchmen. Among them are Billy Crudup(Almost Famous) as Dr Manhattan, Jeffrey Dean Morgan(Supernatural) as The Comedian and Patrick Wilson(Phantom of the Opera) as Nite Owl.
Tim Blake Nelson will be The Leader in The Incredible Hulk
Gavin Hood(Tsotsi) has been named as director for Wolverine
Stan Lee is getting his own limited edition action figure in Hasbro's Marvel Legends line.

Remakes
Robert Zameckis will be directing a 3-D motion capture rendtion of Charles Dicken's A Christmas Carol in the same style as Polar Express
with Jim Carrey playing Ebenezer Scrooger and all three ghosts.
Johnny Depp will be playing Barnabas Collins in the Warner Brothers film update of of classic TV show Dark Shadows.
Sci-Fi TV
American Dad 's third season debuts 9/30 and renewed for a fourth season.
Battlestar Gallactica is renewed for it's fourth and final season on Sci Fi for 22 episodes. Beginning in October, Sci Fi will be airing eight weeks' worth of promotional minisodes which chronicle the original Cylon war. Lucy Lawless will be back.
Bionic Woman remake premieres 9/24 on NBC, Wednesdays at 9pm.
Farscape revived as 10 part webisode program for scifi.com.
Ghost Whisperer is back for it's third season starting 9/28.
Heroes starts back 9/24, Mondays on NBC. DC will be publishing all the web comics in a hardcover edition this fall. Dania Ramirez(Callisto in XMen 3) will be joining the cast. Dominic Keating from Voyager will have a recurring role as an Irish mobster.

Journeyman is a new time travel show premiering 9/24 on NBC, airing Mondays at 10pm.
Lost is doing three more 16 episode seasons, as planned by show producers. The third season box set will be out on 12/11 in regular and Blu-Ray. The fourth season returns in February with Harold Perrineau returning as Michael.
Moonlight, about a vampire detective, premieres 9/28 on CBS, airing Fridays at 9pm.
New Amsterdam, about an immortal detective, premieres 9/25 on Fox, airing Tuesdays at 8pm.
Pushing Daisies, about a man with touch of life and death, premieres 10/3 on ABC, airing Wednesdays at 8pm.
Supernatural returns 0n 10/4. David Cassidy's daughter Katie will be joining the regular cast as demon hunter Ruby.
