Meh, ya know those fires down in SoCal? I'm right in the middle of them. There's one in LA, Ramona, and Malibu. Their radius' end a mile or 2 away from me. Almost had to evac. (:/ __________________

I saw the fires on Fox News this weekend as well, man they are really eating up the acres out there. I too pray for everyone out there. Good to hear you're taking the necessary steps to be ready to go. Things can always be replaced, life cannot, be safe my friend.

Just updated a few minutes ago, the edge of the evacuation area is a block from where I live.
Man, y'all had best be on your way!! Steve Doocy, a reporter for Fox News this morning said he had relatives out in San Diego that had evacuated and were having trouble finding a place to stay in Palm Springs. He said his relatives were traveling on to Phoenix to find a place to stay. __________________

Just woke up, Tuesday morning, its 9 am PST. So far no probems and no evacuation calls, going out to breakfest with grandparents, since there seemes to be life on the road. I'll keep you al updated. __________________

That's good news!! They said the govenor has opened Qual-Comm Stadium to people evacuating. They're serving lots of nice food, and the news even said there are massage therapists on hand for people in extreme stress. Sounds like these folks have their act together compared to the hoopla at the superdome in New Orleans. __________________

Yeah, the stadium had been opened for aboout 36 hours now, and it's very busy, they are giving out food but there's no way I would wait in that line, much less my grandparents. No we're good here. __________________

Wow close call Aero, it's a miracle you are online and got electricity for that matter. It sounds terrible on the news. I wonder if it was arson or just an accident. Can you imagine if some guy started all that on purpose? He'll be in jail the rest of his life. __________________
