Why is it his cousin can fly but he can't get of the ground? I don't think it will hurt the show to see Clark fly.

Once Clark starts flying it will take all the fun away from the super speed scenes.

I want to see him fly too. You know I think he had to be subconsciously flying to catch Lana after she fell off the building because just being in his arms wouldn't have protected her from being squished when he landed. She didn't even twitch an eyelid. Sure he took most of the impact with his legs, but still he had to be slowing down before he hit a bit anyway.

Don't you love how many ways these folks find to destroy a vehicle!!

True, must be pretty expensive.

Is it something he has to go through his training at the fortress with Jor-El? I just don't understand.

Maybe it has something to do with his fear of heights.  That's what's great about Smallville, it doesn't have to follow lock-step with what's been done in other versions of Clark Kent's story.

He can't be that scared we seen Clark jump off buildings and leap across to the other side of the block. You right that's what makes Smallville great. I just would like to see Clark take flight this season.

Actually he is scared when he preforms those super jumps, then again, if you had to do it to save someone's life, wouldn't you?

Yep Areo, I am sure  U R a lifesaver------ and I believe I would save a life ... (well actually, I HAVE saved the life of a little girl, maybe 3, almost backed over by a car in front of a store while her "too busy to notice" mother shopped. I swear I "flew" thru the glass door of a store and got her just a second before she was crushed)  I didn't care if I died.   You are right you DON'T THINK, it is just "raw instinct".I was about 20.

I'm sure many people hve those stories.  I was a CIT (Counselor in Training) for my local YMCA.  And a boy around 7 or 8 I believe ran out in the street, I had to dive bomb her to dodge a car.  It was scary but you're right, you don't think in these types of situations.

The only problem now is Clark doesn't know HER secrets!
Is that Lana doing damage to Lionel, or a clone with no emotions?????
Did you notice the captor woman's house was full of growing "weed"?  I think the blooper was, with that much growing everywhere her "cabin" would not have been so poor!

Re-watch "Promise" from last season Ali, that's where Lana finds out (definitively) Clark's secret.

So funny how she tells Clark that the World will need him one day and that she doesn't want to be the one to get in the way. It's funny because The World needs to be saved from people like her. She's turning bad ass!

Clark is blind! Blind Love! Maybe Lex and her were a good match!

I wonder if she'll turn into a superhero of some sort? A Vigilante of some sort.

Maybe she'll become Catwoman!  This almost describes her quite well!

Catwoman

Publisher     DC Comics

Abilities

    * Peak athlete
    * Expert burglar
    * Steel spring-loaded climbing pitons
    * Razor-sharp retractable claws
    * Wields an assortment of bullwhips and cat o'nine tails as gymnastic equipment

Catwoman is a fictional character associated with DC Comics' Batman franchise and created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane.

The original and most widely known Catwoman, Selina Kyle, first appeared in Batman #1 (Spring 1940) in which she was known as The Cat. As an adversary of Batman, she was a whip-carrying burglar with a taste for high stake thefts. Modern writers have attributed her activities and costumed identity as a response to a history of abuse.

Since the 1990s, Catwoman has been featured in an eponymous series that cast her as an anti-hero rather than a supervillainess. The character has been one of Batman's most enduring love interests, and has occasionally been depicted as his one true love.

A popular figure, Catwoman has been featured in most media adaptations related to Batman. Actresses Julie Newmar, Lee Meriwether and Eartha Kitt introduced her to a large audience on the 1960s Batman television series. Michelle Pfeiffer portrayed the character in 1992's popular film Batman Returns. Halle Berry starred in a stand-alone Catwoman film in 2004, though the film features a title character bearing little resemblance to the comic book character. Catwoman is #51 on Wizard magazine's "100 Greatest Villains of All Time"
