i hate tonights episode (10/25). HATED it. it had not one redeemable quality: bad acting, bad plot..and pretty much just plain stupid. ugh it needs to be better than this. c'mon now.

I don't know about that. I liked it. Starlett & Clark, Darth Lana, Lionel alive, Clark getting his cape & the way he saved Lana...INCREDIBLE!!! __________________
it was just like the most cliche, unoriginal episode ever, you know? like, how many corny rescues do we have to go through in one episode? and i just hate how lana/clark picked up where they left off. it's like all of last season never even happened. we're right back to like, 5 season. and the lionel/crazy-psycho-nameless-lady storyline was so weird. and i'm pretty sure they've used her as an extra at least 5 times.

Calm down, ac
The way Clark saves Lana is always awesome (although if it was real, there would've been a much bigger crater) The New Lana twist is confusingly-interesting if you get my drift.
Incorporating "Warrior Angel" to Clark's life was brillant.
This was not a lame episode, it was one of the best by far this season. __________________

My one disappointment is that they made no mention of Ryan (what with all the discussion of Warrior Angel). They could have had at least had Lex say "I haven't read a Warrior Angel comic since Ryan looked at my collection." or something like that. Or at the beginning the discussion Chloe and Clark were having about comics, you would have thought they could have mentioned Ryan then. Oh well, other than that - great ep!!! I like the way they have Lana progressing - she's every bit a Luthor!! __________________

Are we to assume Lana is officially divorced from Lex or just working on it. They never showed any court appearances, but Lionel indicated she didn't have the name anymore.
I liked the episode a lot better than I thought I was. I wasn't expecting the whole hollywood in smallville routine to be very interesting, but seeing Lionel back really helped the story. I was totally shocked when Lana smacked Lionel with a shovel. I was even more surprised to see Lex still cares enough to rescue his dad. I almost think he's really teetering back and forth between good and evil now. He just needs some kind of break. Somebody to steer him the right way. Of course that can't happen. He has to be totally evil to fight Superman for the rest of his life. __________________
Thought it needed a little "light" in all that darkness. Too bad Kara wasn't there. I know she is off looking for the crystal.

Yeah. If only he were alive to see it. I bet he would've been first in line to see it when it came to theaters. R.I.P. Ryan. Miss ya, little buddy. __________________

It is too bad they exited off Kara with her NY crystal grabbin'trip. The Season needs her--right now for some kind of balance in the dark.
I hope the episodes will be having her presence in them in a major way, because she is needed to save the mood of Smallville. (the way I see it anyhow)

You see, to me, the whole Season has just been too depressing. I would like it better to have a little "light", and fun, like it used to be--there were breaks in the crisis action b4, some positive and tension releaving moments--like, when is the last time you saw Clark grin? OR Lana do her irrepressible cute giggle.(and the laugh with the nose wrinkle--I miss that!) Hey! even Chole who is normally upbeat and positive has gone real intense.
(and dead! even)
So all I am saying is could we see some ray of hope? or some funny sarcasm will do.I am NOT looking real jokes. To me, I see some potential FUN in the teen Kara--I want More Kara,More Kara!!She can get into some wierd but funny situations, being new to Earth. So, I guess DH you don't see it that way, that's O.K. we all march to the beat of a different drummer.
Maybe I just need a few small yucks once in awhile. Maybe nobody else does.

No, I was just confused as to what you meant earlier. Thanks for clarifying in the post above. I don't know if it was a rhetorical question, but I seem to recall Clark being pretty pleased with himself cutting the smiley face into the watermellon (before Kara destroyed it that is). Still, your point is made, the show does not feature as much lightheartedness as it once did. However, Kara (at least up to now) does not seem to have much in the way of a sense of humor. __________________

So far I have given out over 200 pieces of candy. Everybody liked the pumpkin I carved Huge one, lit at my door. The FUNNIEST thing was about 6 kids about 13 yrs. old (in a bunch at my door), dressed as nerds. It was really a laugh. Taped glasses, highwater pants, buck teeth etc. etc. One kid had a cardboard computer hanging around his neck, He said "I am NOT a nerd, I am a geek"

Is it an actual business somewhere do you suppose??

Hey! Anybody want to see their name written in ancient script, free?
I guess you can google this --monogram in cuneiform
or type in http://www.upennmuseum.com/cuneiform.cgi and you learn a little bit about this ancient script (not egyptian) but kinda Kryptonian-like LOL go to the below to learn about ancient Sumerian script
http://www.museum.upenn.edu/new/Games/cuneiform.shtml that might have been a slash after cueiniform, just above not a dot. I haven't had enough coffee yet But it is interesting for some people to contine to learn and absorb info, and I am the King of Trivia after all. So maybe you'd like to see--and maybe not Do I qualify yet for most boring member of this board?? This ought to put me over the top!
This new avatar of mine is somewhere on the Talon walls, I am pretty sure. It is Egyptian, and is pretty riviting. Those Egyptians were great artists and their motifs were so cool that they did.

Just a few more hours till a new Episode!
Itzabird--I love your icon picture. I am into Egyptology and that "eye" is the "Eye Of Horus" I think but maybe it is "all seeing eye" too.
I agree the art of Egypt is beautiful, And also I do think I have seen that picture at the Talon like to say, but I am not sure it was on the wall . I may see it more on the building front. Maybe if they do re-open it will be somwhere else entirely, ha ha..
Scaper that would be a joke if Kara could will the food to warm with her eyes all right LOL I thought Lex was putting the make on her when he offered a job and maybe they will be a couple before Jimmy and her get together then.
I can hardly wait to see all the action tonight.

I'd hang that picture, I like it too.
Yep! It would be good having a Kryptonian in the kitchen.

I can understand wondering why Ryan wasn't mentioned in a story involving "Warrior Angel."
I often wonder why characters don't mention Pete more often. The guy was around for three seasons, but people seem to have forgotten.
So Clark's cape is courtesy the Warrior Angel movie? I guess I thought it was just a symbol of his future.
Shouldn't his actual cape be tough, indestructible, made of Kryptonian material--not a movie prop?

that's not his actual cape, just a thanks from the actress and a foreshadowing present for the future. __________________

could it be that the prop was just a thanks, and that's it???? __________________
