So far, we've seen a darker side of Lana & she's lying to Clark about it. And Chloe's gonna find out some of that next week. In other words, in a familiar accent: 'Twisted by the Dark Side, young Lang has become. The woman we know, gone she is... Consumed by Darth Lana.' Corny, I know, but it's true!! __________________
What the heck is wrong with Lana? Kidnapping Lionel? Putting him in a bear trap. Sure maybe she's protecting Clark, but a bear trap? Ow that scene where he's ripping it off! Ouch!
Poor Lex thought he found a kindred spirit with the nerdy crazy stage hand, but nooo. He's even protecting Clark's secret. __________________
I know, after all the moaning about being lied to by Clark and him not telling her anything. Shes lying to him!
as you all said whats wrong with her! lol. xx __________________

Well, at least he had the sense to stop when he saw how bad the bear trap had his hand!!! Still, that had to hurt when he had it removed from his hand at the hospital!!

It's funny, the show has almost done a 180 with Clark being the truthful one now, and Lana keeping the secret. LOL!!! __________________

"I am God's workmanship." (Ephesians 2:10)
"I have been redeemed and forgiven." (Colossians 1:14)
"I am the salt and the light of the earth." (Matthew 5:13-14)
Quote: So when is this lana going to end up being a clone? That would explain the strange behaviour.
I don't think Lana is a clone, my conjecture is that her behaviour is a resultant of her becoming a Luthor. The only clone we've seen is the one Lana put in her Jeep, and Lex said all of that series was not functional. __________________

So you think that's the end of the whole clone story, huh? It was strange on one of the commercials a couple of weeks back they seemed to be pushing the idea that Lana was not who she said she was, but nothing popped up that week. __________________

Yeah, I think it was a simple way to explain her surviving the Jeep exploding and her DNA being found in it. Plus, it further served to illustrate Lex's obsession with that which he cannot possess/control. __________________

Maybe she has a evil twin LOL? Scitzsophrenia (sp.),-- huh Lana you freak!! I still have to think the clone did Lionel like we saw in last weeks episode. No one can go THAT bad THAT fast, the way I see it. So, I AM at least one here who thinks the clone is hovering somewhere.

Maybe the real Lana is locked away by the evil clone waiting to be rescued on the season finale. __________________
Well, to each their own, but I stay with the assessment that the whole Lana-clone bit is done and overwith. I believe the Lana we're seeing is, indeed, Lana. Besides, it's not going bad "THAT" fast, she has taken more aggressive actions since she has been with Lex. __________________

TIM--That is the way I see it exactly--Lana is locked away by the clone and we will all be taken by surprised at the reveal later on. (Well, not you Tim, or me--that is) AERO---Ahhhhh you may be one more maybe on the side of the clone theory.
DH, What "Lana" did to Lionel requires real insanity-- and extreme cruelty. Lana can never go that stinkin'rotton. The way I see it anyway.

Ha ha---OHHHHH. TRANSLATION (no I am not drunk!) I believe in the clone-Lana theory
I think Tim may too, and I thought you maybe were thinkin' so too.
Sorry, I miss spoke I guess. Please sleep well I got one more theory
Lana may be hypnotized or have a chip implanted, a phone call, electrical discharge or a "word" may turn her into a raving kill-machine . That is a possible reason for her distructive behaviour. Maybe? Ya think??

That's cool, to me I thought what Lana did was poetic justice (well in terms of how a Luthor might define it anyway). Maybe she saw being forced to marry Lex as being thrown into a trap (or a lamb to the slaughter), and thought putting Lionel in a trap was fitting. Then again, it all depends on your sense of humor. __________________

WHOA! When it turned out that Lana was behind the capture of Lionel, I did not see that ahead of time at all!
That was the most stunning thing I've ever seen on "Smallville."
Still, she has had a dark side since season one.

She's always had a dark side though it's gotten more and more dark every season. I mentioned this in another thread but have no idea which one or where it is...any who... I mentioned that maybe Lana will become Catwoman.
Or...... maybe it was the real Lana who died and it's her clone alive now. Maybe her clone was the one who killed Lana. And maybe Lex did something to the clone to make it more evil. Hmmmm??? The possibilities!
Maybe Clark will have to decide to kill the Clone of the woman he loves! Wow now that would be a twist hey!
Talking about twist ... Did anyone see Heroes last night? So awesome... that show gets better and better! I wonder if Peter picked up Hiro's abilities and will be the one to go back in time to save Hero! __________________

Yes, I think Peter has Hiro's time travel ability. I hate that Hiro's hero isn't so heroic. __________________
You know, now it seems there are more thinkin' "Evil Lana" is a clone than not. DH, you are outnumbered!
