In Canada? No way! You know it sounds like Canada is warming up, but there's a place last week in the US that was 40 below. I can't remember where?

It's been going up and down here. Mostly up though. There was a freezing day with snow flurries a few days ago, then it went back up to 60. Then after that it dropped for half a day. Very confusing weather.

It was 15 degrees C. here yesterday. That's 60 degrees Fahrenheit. I know that's not like really hot but for a February day it's nice. Nice today too, but not quite as warm. I think it's around 10 Celcius today.

The Island and Lower Mainland (Vancouver) is always pretty warm here in the winter....Well for Canadian stadards anyways. Average daytime temperature for Victoria in February is 8 degrees Celcius. or 46.5 Fahrenheit.

It got cold again today, it was snow flurrying a couple of hours ago. Up and down up and down with the temperatures.

Just watched the weather report and the weatherman said we are having really freaky weather all around the USA.  Like you said, one hour it's nice out, take off your shirt and wash your car--the next hour you are chopping wood for the fireplace! Whadup??
Posted:  21 Feb 2008 09:46
It was another really nice day here. Around 60 again and Sunny. Same with tomorrow's forcast. It's a little frosty in the morning though!

Adding to  USA "conditions"--Nevada had a 6.3 EARTHQUAKE a little while ago.  (Elko, NV. that is near Wells.) Whoa! Pleanty earthquakes in NV. anyway
Looks like you are in a good spot.

Just heard on the news Calif. is up pretty quick for a big quake again like the 6.? you all had some years ago.  I heard it is going to be a whopper. Hey!  Not today! but they figure soon.  Have you heard that?  First I heard of it was today. That big one was during a BBgame, was that north of you, like Oakland or something?
Posted:  16 Apr 2008 01:58
Nah, haven't heard anything about an earthquake down here.  The biggest news down here is the school budget cuts.

They were discussing a new "detection device" that says it is sure to hit soon. They'll have a run now in Calif.--on hard hats!

By God, it's Reno with all the quakes! (Hometown for me)
Looks like the experts predictions were miles off and Calif. is safe (so far).  Some really deadly stuff occuring all over the world;last I heard it is over 100,000 dead in Burma (Thailand area, ooops, spelling)) Carolinas hit pretty hard a few days ago with twisters, 900 yr non-active Volcano erupting last week, such fall out it make take a yr. to get all the ash out of the town. Makes ya wonder; don't it?? Those Luthors must be up to it.huh?
No laughting matter tho.  Where will tragedy strike next?

And-----8,7000 so far dead in China TODAY, Mon, the 12th. with a 7.6 magnitude quake.
Something is wrong with the planet?? Plates are shifting, volcanos erupting after 900 yrs,  Burma is all but gone with thousands dead from Massive Cyclone, Reno rumbling  yet with aftershocks, WATCH OUT Los Angeles to SanFran!! What kind of a past week was that!!
Will we all be here next week. Where is Superman when we need him?
Posted:  13 May 2008 02:50
I'm gone for 3 weeks and the planet goes to hell.

*shakes head*

That 's right, united we stand, divided we fall!  If Smallville can stand intact, without the posters and fans falling apart, maybe the planet will be braced with our special powers.
You take care of yourself!I know you are in the zone  where they predicted earthquakes weeks ago. Are you worried about it at all? You've probably been in a few.  There is supposed to be a big one on the horizon. I sure hope NOT!  You have been thru
E-nough!  I have a good friend with Chrones (SP.)  He is Jewish, and he told me it hits more Jewish people than not.  That sounds crazy but he swears his Dr. told him that.  Can that be possible? He goes in and out of remission, most in remission.
He is a cop, and has a lot of stress. His life goes on for him pretty well, that is for sure.  He's had it 8 yrs.  I think you'll do as well!
