Although it's not thanksgiving just yet, it's close enough.
I'm thankful for Smallville, period.
I'm also thankful for friends and family.
Finally I'm thankful for superheroes for giving us some guideing light in the mist of the dark era that is now.
"
Henry Jackson: Hi, Peter!
Peter Parker: Hey, Henry! You've grown tall.
May Parker: You'll never guess who he wants to be... Spider-Man!
Peter Parker: Why?
May Parker: He knows a hero when he sees one. Too few characters out there, flying around like that, saving old girls like me. And Lord knows, kids like Henry need a hero. Courageous, self-sacrificing people. Setting examples for all of us. Everybody loves a hero. People line up for them, cheer them, scream their names. And years later, they'll tell how they stood in the rain for hours just to get a glimpse of the one who taught them how to hold on a second longer. I believe there's a hero in all of us, that keeps us honest, gives us strength, makes us noble, and finally allows us to die with pride, even though sometimes we have to be steady, and give up the thing we want the most. Even our dreams.
" ~ Spider-Man 2

If you are watching the WGN (Chicago)Mc Donald's Thanksgiving Day Parade you may have seen the WGN, CW6 Float, and on the side "SMALLVILLE" with photos of Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum (only)--and it is snowing real hard, still the Chicagoens are out in full force, young and old to see the parade thru the stormy snow.Brrrrrrr.
I was glad to see Smallville represented there right on the WGN TV float, (also could see promo for Reaper and Gossip Girl, but of course, I am 100% Smallville!) Cheers!
ALL I wanted was yams, but I took a small amt. of turkey. There were at least 20 of us around the table, but we all went to a restaurant. No dishes or clean up this year!

Uh-oh!! Aero fell asleep at the computer!!! Quick, somebody get an electric charger!!!
I spent the morning at the fitness center, and I think I over-did it as I was really nauseated when I finished.
Still, I after cleaning up and getting some rest I felt well enough to go over to my brother's place for Thanksgiving dinner. My sister-in-law's parents were there, though my brother is still back home at the farm in South Carolina. I did good as I fixed a plate with a small portion of all the traditional fixings. However, after finishing it I had no room for any of the delicious looking pies that my nephew's girlfriend had brought over. She's currently attending Johnson-Whales University in Charlotte, NC, and boy can she cook!!! Man that cheesecake she made with the chocolate covered strawberries looked so good!!! __________________

You did not miss anything, the CW did not air Smallville, instead they aired a movie called Raise Your Voice __________________

OHHHHHH, I didn't even realize that was BIG BIRD as the turkey. I just thought it was funny that Superman was cooking the meal with his heat vision.
I don't think there R any kids who watch Sesame St. who also watch Smallville anyway .Not to worry.
The bigger the bird the tougher my granny says, so I wonder if they enjoyed it.

Say big bird would keep a family eating for a year straight. __________________
Does it seem that we have less posters than a month ago? This board used to "keep going" pretty good, but not so much anymore.Have some left to another Superman site? This is the easiest to use so maybe they will come back if that is the case.

People come and go on this site. Aside from Kryptonsite and SmallvillePH I can't find anywhere better or more reliable then this site. Plus everyone is friendly here and now days that's hard to find online. __________________

I am not on boards anywhere, so I just assume people are decent everywhere and that is probably a dumb assumption. If we have less people maybe we better throw a big hissy and attract attention!LOL

Like Greg Laswell's song "High and Low" (from last season's episode "Justice") this site has its highs and lows. Posting activity really seems to peak around season premiers/finales, and a few days after an episode airs. I have spent a lot of time lately reading fan fiction people are posting over at kryptonsite.com. There are some amazing stories over there, the CW needs some of these folks writing for them!!
Aero's right, this is the most friendly forum I've seen on the net. I read a lot of automotive restoring forums, and it is amazing how many flames get started on a site a person goes to try to learn more about cars!! Also, there are some Smallville forums where people get very nasty about their fondness for one "ship" over another. Everyone has their own favorite here, but we all get along well with our differences - indeed this forum/site is a diamond in the rough. __________________
