What will we do with no Smallville? Enough with the re-runs.
What about a reality show like Survivor using all the cast of Smallville--would that be GREAT or what??? Or The Amazing Race (or whatever== ) that is the show where they speed from country to country with pitfals and tricks. I would absolutely LOVE to see Smallville people on a rugged reality show!! Would anybody else?? Hey! I hope this idea is read by a producer!!! (Dream on my little gypsy sweetheat.) LOL

Good idea. Smallville reality... I'd watch that. I don't usually get into the other reality shows, but one featuring the Smallville cast would be interesting. __________________
Meanwhile, scaper---GOOGLE "BEETLEJUICE" It starred Michael Keaton, he was kinda trapped in a model neighborhood, not real but authentic and very small. If someone said Beetlejuice 3 times he appeared, and that wasn't good, because he was tricky and scarey!! He was also sort of risque with double entendre one liners, but kid's wouldn't get it so it was a PG movie. You can see the whole thing on youtube but just miss the first part, and go for parts with Beetlejuice, about 1/3 into the movie. Maybe you'll catch his town. It would be a riot if you built that!!! You make $$$$ for it bigtime I would say.

I remember seeing beatle juice. Kind of a stupid movie! I thought anyways. Anyone see I am Legend? I have no desire to see it. All my friends and staff have said it sucked!
I'm looking forward to seeing the next national treasure movie really! __________________

I was thinking about seeing I Am Legend today. That's the first time I've heard anything negative about it though.
I'm also wanting to see Alvin and National Treasure at some point this holiday season. __________________

Tim, I saw I Am Legend a few days ago. It was DAMN good. The visual effects rocked. It's like the movie Omega Man, but better. So, yes, GO SEE IT!!! __________________
I plan to see when I get the chance with my buddies. I can't always go to the movies like I want to, but I always try and go when I can. __________________

Here's my latest model, slide show. It's a small building but it took a long time as I did two together of the same. I've got so many models to put together over the next month.
Here's a couple of photos of the slide, smaller photos.
This is how it looks with some other buildings...again this is just a fraction of my city buildings. I've got some really cool other skyscrapers. I'm going to put this city together in the summer sometime! __________________

WOW!! Great work Scaper!!! I love how you've made the buildings look "aged". So, is this just a hobby, or part of city development plans that you bring up at meetings? The detail work you put into these buildings is phenominal!! __________________

I had a great Christmas, but I fear no good words on the strike yet. I guess we might as well accept the fact that Smallville is going to have a shorter season this year along with all the other shows. The only shows that won't be cut short or those dang reality shows I personally never watch. I love regular scripted TV sci-fi and action shows. __________________
I hand painted and glued together this four story building in the center, I like it, I weathered it a bit too...
And this is a 30 story office tower I put together tonight...
I've got a hexagonal office tower like this which is bronze and will be much taller than this. I'm thinking of cutting the top and creating a sloped roof to it. I may hand paint the ridges silver as well, though that would take a long time. I think I'll do this though.
I placed it behind some of my other buildings I've put on my counter...again this is just a handful of buildings I've got.
This is my next project. I got these kits off ebay. I've got six of them... They are from the 60's and though they say H.O. scale, they are much closer to N scale. I'm trying to figure out how to bash them together... I'll probably get two really cool buildings from them. Some are built some are not. I've got two of the smaller Inn Kit and six of the high rise kits. I'm having a hard time with this one... I'm going to get Caleb my employee and friend to help me with this one...he's completely into urban planning and cities too.
Here's some more heritage style buildings I've hand painted, I weathered some of these too...
I always work on these things in the winter as a winter fun project... __________________

WOW!!! Those replicas turned out great Scaper!! Just don't let Jasper go running by and knock them over, eh!!!
So, are you looking to become an architect? __________________

D.Man, I'm not into becoming an architect. Maybe one day I'll develop a building but who knows hey.
I do like building these buildings as well as factories and industrial buildings. You should see some of those I've got and am building!!!
Check out this guys train set and city.
It's all in HO scale about twice the size of mine. I'm trying really hard to find some older style skyscrapers it's difficult. Most of the ones I have modern or older are all kit bashed or I've made them from scratch. No one sells these things. grrrrr.
I've been searching google. I found one company but the orders were too much and they couldn't keep up with it and have closed up for now. Weird! __________________

This "no new Smallville eps." sucks. I think we get 1 new in Feb, and that's all she wrote!
Happy New Year . Be careful, drive safe.

Umm...some good news??
The Writers Guild of America is expected to announce a new deal with United Artists on Monday that will allow writers to resume work on the film studio's productions. United Artists, owned by Tom Cruise and partner Paula Wagner, are negotiating an interim deal with WGA union leaders to bring the writers back to work.
A deal between WGA and United artists would not include UA's parent company Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios (MGM), according to the Wall Street Journal. No other film studios under the umbrella of the Alliance of Motion Pictures and Television Producers would benefit from the deal either.
The contract would likely resemble one negotiated last month that allowed The Late Show with David Letterman to return to the air in January. That deal, between WGA and David Letterman's production company, Worldwide Pants Inc., allowed The Late Show and The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson to resume taping with its writing team intact.
A United Artists deal with WGA would be the first contract to be negotiated with a leading film company with the striking guild. An agreement might prompt further independent negotiations with other films and television studios, which could increase the pressure to end the strike at large on terms favorable to the WGA, according to the New York Post.
So far, neither the WGA or United Artists have made a formal announcement regarding the possible deal, though industry publication Daily Variety indicates a statement may be released on Monday.
On Friday, the Screen Actors Guild announced their Hollywood star actors would not be attending the 65th Annual Golden Globe Awards. According to SAG President Alan Rosenberg, none of the 72 acting nominees will show at the Globes. The move was taken to show solidarity with the Writers Guild of America, which is currently on strike over contract negotiations for a bigger cut of the DVD and Internet download markets.
Film and television writers on both coasts took to the streets in November to demand a larger slice of the profits made from DVD sales and Internet downloads. The strike, which is the first the entertainment industry has seen since 1988, came just days after the contract between the Writers Guild of America and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) ended on Oct. 31.
