Holy cow what was I thinking, I can't negotiate with evil villains bent on taking over the world. I stand for truth, justice, and the American way! I also stand for fried chicken, comic books, and lots and lots of good television. __________________

Zoddy, Tell me who she is that I am in your fantasy???-URSA I am not familiar with my character but is that a BEAR???
SPEAKING OF FIRE NOW____--A couple years ago I made the kitchen explode. R---(Tarzan) was working on my car and he came in with lots of grease on his levi's and I said "Give me the pants" 'cause I was going to wash them quick. He did and went to the shower. I began washing the pants and thought "How will I get the grease out"? (It is not good if I think too hard (in fact Tarzan says "Its dangerous) I got the gasoline can from the porch and poured in about a cup, maybe more. When the wash cycle changed, there is/was a "small "spark" of some kind. The F.Dept explained to me after they rushed here from two blocks away. My curtains, dish towels, anything cloth here--on fire!!!!--and don't edit this, but my fuzzy robe was on fire at the tips of my breasts because they were protruding under the cloth and my EYELASHES all singed and brows. They had to take a part of the wall down and were up in the attic-way. Smolders in places for awhile so they hung around. They thought I was THE dumbest women on the planet, and "Tarzan" jumped out into it all this commotion (naked.) They told him , laughingly--"Don't leave her alone in the house"... Tarzan said he was going to cut out the "funny part" of my robe and have it framed! The devil! LOL!!

The absolute truth, so help me God! Boobs on fire. I grabbed an open container or Orange Juice on the counter and drenched them. I swear to God (and I would never do that if not true) I nearly blew up the house washing Levis with gasoline and my boobs, curtains, dish towels , eyelashes all on fire, Fire dept here, and pretty astounded I could be that dumb. Not proud of it, but funny and true, cross my heart.

HAHAHAHAHA!!! Probably not! Wow I'm still in amazement! That would make a funny Saturday Night Live skit!
So did your eyebrows grow back? Hopefully there wasn't any lasting burn marks either, that would suck!
Anyways I'd stick with Tide with Bleach!!! __________________

O.K. I'll tell you a funny story. It's a Canadian thing so you'll have to remeber that the Canadian version of the FBI is the RCMP. Which stands for Royal Canadian Mounted police. Although they don't ride horses anymore.
So the short term for an RCMP officer is a Mountie! So you'll have to understand that to understand this joke.
We were in Boston Pizza last year. We met up with some friends, a few girls and my buddies. We were chilling out, when the police officers came in. Three men and a woman. Anyways the lady and the guy police officers left. We were joking around and having a good time when my friend Layne went to go to the bathroom. I guess when he walked by these police men he noticed that the two officers were holding hands in away that was mostly unnoticable. He came back laughing.. He said you won't believe what I just saw as he was laughing to the point where I could hardly understand what he was saying. After a few times I understood him and he said... "I just saw the broke back Mounties!" I laughed so hard I actually fell off my seat. And yes they were holding hands!!! hahahaha.... Oh My that night was funny. Maybe you guys won't find this funny but if you were with us that night your guts would have hurt the next day. __________________

Funny! Yes it is. I saw BBMountain. I saw it only because a teacher here lost her job by showing her I think it was 6th, grade class, THAT movie.I wondered how a movie could get a teacher fired. Now I know. A father of one of the kids sued the school and won. The teacher must have been crazy to show kids the movie. They had to sit there, they just had no choice. One kid had to see a shrink w/trauma. That was the problem that parents were not notified first that the movie would be shown. Nor the school Princ. or VIPS. They knew not. It was a female teacher showing the film. Bizarre.
The movie was terrible in every way possible. Boring to top it off, and I read it had Awards. I will never know why.A dull, uncomfortable to see film.
So, I do "get" the joke!! Funny play on words. Very!
I doubt anyone here but me, saw the movie, and they will not get the joke (if they didn't.) So, here is your (probably) only reply and laugh.
I didn't know Mounted Police minus horses still exsisted. I saw the movie with the actor from "Monkeybone" , Brandon Frazier, --I liked "Monkeybone" but the "Mountie" movie was just "silly". I like kid stuff tho. I always watch "Drake & Josh" (lots of re-runs) but that is a really clever show--totally family oriented. I have watched the boys practically grow up on TV. My friends kid me for watching it. I wonder if anyone here knows what that show is? I also like "The Grim Adventures Of Billy & Mandy" (for "The Grim Reaper" his Jamaica voice, and the way he gets kicked around by the kids) THAT is a cartoon show FOR kids (like, only-- but there are some double entendre one liners too). What are ya goin' do?? I am a child-woman. Do any show in Canada?

I've never heard of these shows. Interesting, though I have to be honest I don't watch a lot of kis shows anymore. I also don't watch a lot of T.V. shows either. It's partly to do with running a business and being busy. Though this time of year it gets dark so early that I seem to watch T.V. much more than in the summer.
That's crazy that a teacher would show a bunch of 6 graders that movie. Especially with out notifying the school or parents first! Crazy teacher. I never watched that movie either. I had no interest in watching it...not one bit! I never saw the movie Monkey Bones either... you liked it hey?
As for the RCMP it's Canada's main law inforcement. We have an organization called CSIS which is our equivelant of the CIA. It stands for Canadian Security Intelligence Service, it's one the best in the world, and works along side Scotland Yard and the CIA.
Anyways the RCMP is a pretty good organization. Like all they have their short comings, but they were on the ground in New Orleans before the Americans were, same with the Canadian Coast Guard and the Vancouver Search and Rescue. I remember watching this show were they interviewed a lot of the Katrina victims and they said how shocked they were when it was the Canadians out saving people while the U.S. national Guard hadn't even been deployed yet.
Anyways there's always funny jokes going on about the RCMP. I always laugh in American Movies where they'll show a Canadian RCMP officer wearing a red suite. They are just ceremonial, as they were a normal officer's uniform.
Getting back to the Cartoon thing, When I was in high school and just out of high school in college, I would always watch cartoons. Like He Man and The Transformers, I'm always a huge Looney Tunes fan. I guess I'm still a big kid at heart, I just don't get the time to get into the cartoons. However this is why I love Comic style movies. Like The Transformer's movie, F 4, SpiderMan, Superman, Smallville, Heroes, etc. I love sci fi too. I just watch Alien Vs Predetor on the Big Screen a couple of days ago. It was pretty cool. Much better than the first one!
Do you like the comic book movies, like Batman, F4, Spidey, etc??? __________________

Hello,
I tackled the bedroom. Got all furnature out, and painted the room, a cool sea green. I, all by myself, tore out all the carpeting and a store is coming today with samples and will lay a new carpet for me before the week ends. I have the dressers outside to "do something" with. I may just keep the wood and resurface with something from home depot. I am going there this morn to decide it I want to paint over, or restore the "finish" only. I am in the middle of making new curtains. (EZ to do) and while out I will get a new bedspread, etc. So, I have been really busy, and I will be a few days more.
Have fun today "Miss N"

ah, the woman Ursa...whose perversions and unreasoning hatred of all mankind have threatened even the children of the planet Krypton. Ursa. Vicious, cruel, obsessed by a single-minded hatred which could never be determined. Ursa, the only feeling she showed was for her vicious general. her only wish, to rule at my side.

The Bible is so powerful. It's not to be left on your shelf. It's to outline even the simplest scriptures that can mean so much in building yourself up.
"I am God's workmanship." (Ephesians 2:10)
"I have been redeemed and forgiven." (Colossians 1:14)
"I am the salt and the light of the earth." (Matthew 5:13-14)
That's so awesome! Let me know if you want a specific shot. I have cars trucks I could set up a neat scene! __________________

Awesome, as soon as I get to a city scene I'll let you know. I think my next story is going to start in the country. I'm going back to 1940's. I'm also going to possibly be going into the distant future. Say, got any futuristic buildings?
Of course I might be doing some aliens attacking the city scenes too. I just have to get started and work out my next story in my mind. __________________

Too much Overtime lately. We have about 650 firefighters a day calling in sick these last few months. Money is nice, but the workload is taking it's toll on us.
I hope things get back to normal here and with the WRITERS GUILD. Then I can go back to my normal routine and spend more time online.
As DH would say...miss Ya'll
