Well, we all can see Tom has gained weight since this shot earlier on.  But that is alright.  Too much more  tho and he won't be able to alight from earth .Yet, look at the First Guy/Superman Reeves--He is quite a bit older than the other S'men and heavy appearing.  Was he the one who jumped out a window and killed himself?  Do you think he actually had flipped and thought he really was Superman and it was an accident?

george reeves was said to have committed suicide by gunshot. some say he was depressed cause he was typecast as SM. that is the official cause of death. however, some people say he was murdered. he was dating some whacko chick who was also dating some rich producer who was involved in organized crime. (from all accounts, pretty normal stuff for 1950's hollywood) but the most damning piece of evidence is that, supposedly, the gun that was used had no fingerprints on it. including georges. guess we'll never know.

I really have a hard time believing George Reeves killed himself. He just didn't seem like the type of guy to give up on life so easily. A lot of people back in the 50's had a lot more harder things to deal with than being typecast too. Making a living wasn't so easy for the average guy. So I just can't see that being typecast is a good enough reason to drive a man to kill himself over.

This is the first time I've heard of this. Maybe it was the same people who killed Marilyn Monroe.

I think she just died of a overdose, but if you are into conspiracies maybe it had something to do with JFK. You know he had a thing for her. She dies, he's assassinated. There's a plot in there somewhere.

I believe she was killed off by the CIA. They had an affair. And she learned things that she shouldn't have. I guess Bill never told Monika anything other than sharing his cigar! Lucky for Monika!

I never did understand that woman's death story nor do I think she is attractive.

I never thought she was that beautiful either. I think she was like a Madonna of the 50's. The 50's where still the innocent days on T.V. remember Elvis was banned from T.V. for moving his hips in a provocative manner. So to have a Madonna type actress in the 50's who would have an affair with the Prez. pose nude, etc I think she just caught the public eye. I believe if she lived today she wouldn't be as popular if she would be popular at all.

MM was a pretty girl, I disagree; ..and NOT anorexic. She at least looked like a woman! Bring back that body.

I don't think she would be able to survive the Hollywood lifestyle that you American's put out there nowadays.

The Hollywoodland movie shows various versions of George's death. But I remember a few years ago there a special on TV about the investigation and how there were ommision on his death certificate. There are certainly enough questions just no one alive to answer them, that is also the case for Marylin. Sad losses both of them.
Maybe the Bat can get to the bottom of it

I have to say Micheal Rosenbaum is by far the best Lex Luther i have seen in any Superman movies or shows. Although i thought Kevin Spacy did a real good job in the newest film.
