Oh yeah I watched that for sure. I've never seen it abreviated before. That was a good game. A nail biter the Gold Metal Game against Sweeden. Though having it go into over time makes it more exciting. That's 4 gold metals in a row now for Canada. Next year's tourney is in Ottawa. Maybe I'll go see a game. I've never been to one.
I'm still wanting to go see one of Team Canada's games at the 2010 Olympics in Whistler. I mean how often does your province ooops or State host the Winter Olympics! __________________

i watch the tourney every year. it's a canadian holiday tradition. i went to about 3 games when it was held here in winnipeg in '99. guess who was the team canada goalie that year! give up. Bobby Lu. (roberto luongo) but they lost the gold medal game to russia in OT that year. how about last years game. remember the shootout against the Americans in the semis. Johnathon Toews ruled. 3 for 3. and a local winnipeg boy to boot. now he's kicking butt in chicago. me and my bro might head to B.C. for the 2010 Olympics. too bad tickets will be like 500$ but WTF, it'll be the last time NHLers participate in the Olys. only 2 short years away. maybe i'll look you up. you do like beer don't you? of course you do.

Actually I don't drink at all, but by all means if your in Vancouver call me! I have to find out when the Olympic tickets go on sale.
Is that true that NHL players won't play after 2010? That sucks! Toews was awesome in that Gold metal Game!
He's doing well in Chicago now! You have had to have seen this goal high light!
One of the best goals I've ever seen! Amazing! __________________

So how do you like Winnipeg? Hey does Lake Winnipeg freeze completely over in the winter? That's one massive lake! I've never been to Manitoba before. Been to Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, but I guess I missed your home province! Saskatchewan was quite ah... well... not much there!!! hahahahaha!!! I love Calgary!!! Toronto's pretty nice too though the people in Calgary are awesome. I went to Calgary during the Stampede. What a blast. Everyone was wearing Cowboy Hats and the atmosphere of the place just rocked! Such a Western Hip Town! __________________

winterpeg is awesome. it's a small city, only about 650,000 people. people walk or snowmobile across LW in the winter but i think there might be a few unfrozen patches. calgary is nice. banff is wicked. party town. cops are strict there though. i woulda loved to have been at the red mile during the Flames run to the final in '04.

Zod, Winnipeg is pretty big. Well about twice the size of here hahaha. But I wouldn't call it a small town.
Hey thanks for reminding of Banff...I love that place... It's been about 8 years since I've been there. This summer! For sure...
Banff is probably the most beautiful place on Earth! Lake Louise is so amazing. For you American Folk out there this is Lake Louise.. it's a glacier lake but the minerals left behind create a neon blue and green water colour which is absolutely breath taking. Photos almost look fake but they are not.
These photos I got from Flickr.com
This is Banff
David when you come up here to visit this year, We can go out here, it's a good ten hour drive from Vancouver. It's in Alberta, but Wow such a beautiful place.
It's got such a cool little town center too.
Anyways D.Man if you do come up this way, see if you can hang for a bit, then you can check some of these places out! Lake Louise is the most beautiful place I've ever seen. __________________

if those pics aren't enough to get people to realize that they should take care of the environment, then they're hopeless. 'nuff said.

I just love Banff. I can't believe I haven't be there for so long. It was 2000 when I was there last. Shadow if you ever get a chance to spend a week there or a weekend it's just amazing. It's only about two hours from Calgary too.
Zod you're so right! __________________

Aero, I remember when you said you'd been to that building in Victoria, remember that waterfront photo I took. I wonder if you got it confused with the hotel at Banff. They are quite similar, there are six of them across Canada. One's in Banff. When did you visit? Did you come to the West Coast or just Alberta? __________________

Nope, I've been to many of the places you've posted, I spent some time in Victora for a vacation. I love it up there peaceful and beatutiful, unlike the building construction and stuff down here in San Diego. __________________

That's cool. I've never been to San Diego before. Palm Springs, L.A., Sacremento, Phoenix, Reno, and many more, but not San Diego. Is the weather warm there right now? __________________

it's average, high 70's low 60's (*F)
I'm actually a little north of San Diego in a city called Poway--yes, right next to firestorm. I could see the fire from my house but don't worry, I was fine.
The fire had to go sdtraight through downtown Poway to get to where I live. __________________
