That is O.K.--Beneath the whiskers there is a very cute face!!

Very few times I'm stuck for words! ...... I guess all I can say is, seeing your photo a while ago, those are very complimentary words!

I'm now going to lay down for a bit, I'm airing the house out, cranking up the heat. It's been kinda stale air in here. I think it will do me well to get some fresh air flowing through the house. I just came back from the rec center, steam room, hot tub...feeling relaxed, just stuffed up! Grrrr.

Anyways thanks for making me smile! Big Hugs 4 U .

Dooley was a mule (is a mule), I would think he is packing up in the Superstition Mts. yet.  They said he was a favorite with the ladies.  He takes the tourists around.  He got a good home and a good "gig".  He may still wear a hat.
I am glad you showed the proportion of the size of      the cars and " wee folks "  to your hand.  And the size of the boxes that the buildings come in.  isn't that so really weird that I was thinking about them.  I doze off to some really odd stuff from time to time.  I doubt anyone else had the question in their mind, even.  I am like always questioning things.  Darn!
Yep it is really good to move the air around and no one does that much in winter due to the outside temp, but I do it every nite to my bedroom window and I stand there and breath really deep just b4 going to bed. Hopefully there are not bad guys out there because I have no window screens so nothing between me and the night.  Hope I don't get pulled out the window by a strong hand some nite.  Maybe I better not do that.
Can you buy a product we have in the states called NyQuil up there?  That does help, and it knocks you on your a-- so you can sleep. Maybe you could get a bottle of it.  It is really good for a cold.
                   U Take Care!'
I hope Tim is going to be O.K. with that kind of infection!  I am glad he went and saw somebody.  Like Zod said "That skin virus spreads real fast"!

That's such a healthy thing to do!

Well no one you can see anyways.. I mean protecting you! Angels, God, Loved ones, Friends prayers   Still you need to be careful. Maybe you should get a hand getting some simple bars installed in your windows or at least you bedroom window hey! At least you have your dog...the best alarm system you can have!

As for NyQuil yes you can get it up here. It's funny Canada and the U.S. are so similar. The only things you cant really get up here or down there are weird things. Like Cuban Cigars... anyone want any? So cheap up here! In any smoke shop...then there are the more expensive kind. Anyways let me know, maybe Tim would like some for his Birthday... But better than Cigars for us is we get so much British Chocolate up here even regular Chocolate Bars that you can't get down in the U.S.  Cadbury's hmmm mmm mm...

OOOH OH... I just talked about Chocolate!!! hahahahaha.

Anyways on the flip side.. There is no Jack in the Boxes up here. Grrr Or Circle K's funny. Anyways other than that, it's pretty much the same...especially now that our dollars are the same value! Good deal for us!

Anywho... I'm ranting thanks for the suggestion, I've never taken Niquil. I'll try some tomorrow as it's after midnight now and I'm wondering how well I'll sleep again! Positive thoughts right!

By the way is there a big difference between a Mule and a Donkey? Sorry I'm not a farm boy like Clark! hahahaha

have a nice night!

A mule is sterile, a product of the mating between a donkey and a filly. They are truly very stubborn animals and if they are "agin' it" you will run around all morning with  a bridle in your hand trying to get him ready to ride.No bribe (apples, sweet feed) accepted. After he is saddled, then he lets you mount and can be an excellent ride!  Dooley only likes girls.  He was balky "with men".  But he didn't kick girls.   He was affectionate actually.
I hope to get out of this place after I get the house in a condition to sell, which may be awhile.  $$$$ problems and then the Un-handy handymen.  The "doors" episode was good enough for prime time TV show.  Now, I can laugh!
Posted:  09 Feb 2008 23:49
Interesting, so what's a filly? (YIKES) sorry obviously not a farm boy hey! hahahaha.

So where would you like to move Nanci? Somewhere closer to the Ocean maybe? I remember how you said you loved walking on the beach but don't get to do it much. It's so healthy and re-energizing. I love being near the ocean. Though sometimes I hate being on an Island as big as it is. It's beautiful, but when I want to go to the States, or Calgary or Vancouver etc the Ferries is a pain. Again a beautiful 1 1/2 trip but sometimes you just want to get there. I guess it's a toss up. I love living in Canada though I feel so thankful. You look around at all the other Countries in the World.. Iraq, Russia, India, etc. We have so much to be thankful for. Living in Countries like the U.S., Canada, Australia, etc is such a blessing! Where ever you decide to move I hope you find a nice place to call home and feel at peace.

It's funny I was thinking of you the other day, and I was thinking... I wonder if Nanci really feels happy living where she does? If she feels alone, or trapped, or just not content wanting to get away and spread your wings. I pray for you on this.

Remember focus on what you want!

How do I feel living here---desperate, because I feel like it is falling in on me.  Call a shrink!
A "filly" is a  young girl horse.  A male is a stallion or a "stud". There you go---ready for ranch living.  Get a cowboy hat and a gun--but do not, I repeat, do not ride up to BBack Mountaun!!  Ya hear?
Posted:  10 Feb 2008 02:56
Wow that was funny, I just logged on posted a comment and in the mean time you've posted this. good timing hey!

Well, now I feel so much more farmish. I guess with my big beard I can feel more the part now too! It's getting ridiculous! hahahahhaa.

I felt you felt that way. Keep faith, you have all the power to change your situation. I feel for you. It's tough knowing that there's no one around to lean on, or to help you. I know your a strong independant woman but still it's nice to have another strong shoulder to lean on sometimes too. I do pray for you. I'll keep you in prayer on this matter. I'm sorry you are having a desperate, alone, stranded, feeling around you. Just remember you are never alone! The world is at your feet and fingertips, you just need to believe you can, you deserve it, and to seize it! You are such an awesome girl, I completely believe in you hey! Don't give up!

I've found the times where I've been at the end of my rope, or at a place I thought I'd never climb out of, etc, it's these times and places that have defined me. They mold us, strengthen us, make us stronger, wiser, and better. Good things are waiting for you my friend! fight for it!

Tthanks for the peppy talk  but I have to keep in mind, my future may have passed. I am 10 months past the open heart surgery. One thing for sure absolutely--I am making sure I am committed to nothing.
Goals, romance, --- I am like adrift, day by day.  But I am happy I am here.  I have NO "power to change" stuff as you say. My fragile life is in God's hands. That is good, all good.
Posted:  10 Feb 2008 04:27
I don't buy that... that you future may have passed you buy. You survived your open heart surgery for a reason right! I agree that your life is in God's hands, and that it's all good

Don't close your doors to committed goals. Especially Romance. You are such a pretty girl, yet you have so many nice ways about you. You have such a great outlook on life, and you're so sweet. Trust me you'd be letting a lot of guys down if you give up on that! You just need to meet someone who treats you with the respect and honor you deserve. You are also still so young so much life to live!

Anyways life is choices, if you are happy where you are, then that's awesome. Though if you are deep down inside feeling trapped and desperate... All things are possible through God's help. Just believe... Remember positive Affirmation! Or in God's terms "Believe and you shall receive." Anyways I believe in you still!

Anyways my friend, I pray for you everyday! and thanks for always making me smile!

Thanks!
I have a big favor tho, if you will.  I don't want to talk about problems I may have.  It is not good for me.AND all wrong for a public forum.  Romance is out--please, Let that topic slide by. and I am not making goals and plans and I feel much better not mentioning those either.   I appreciate your positivity. Don't get me wrong.  I just want to be like everybody else here, not feel like I am "needy"--'cause I am pretty centered all the time.  My house is a wreck and that is the only thing bothering me.  really.
You are really nice. I KNOW you mean well, totally.
Let's just bury this subject.  I guess it is my fault.I was just complaining about the d--- doors, but if and when I get some ... good enough I can deal with that. I promise not to complain about stuff!!! LOL!
Posted:  10 Feb 2008 09:14
oops sorry

soooooo...... how's the weather?

I'm starting to feel a bit better, though still a bit stuffed up. I'm keeping a low profile this weekend nothing to exciting for me anyways.

Hey is there like lots to do where you live? Have you ever done the white water rafting on the Colorado River? I think that would be a blast.

On a completely different subject all together, I bought this train magazine, it had a layout of someone made of Old time Arizona. It was really well done. I don't buy these magazines usually though I was so bored from being sick I thought it would give me something to read. I guess when I saw that layout when I started reading the magazine it reminded me of that story you were talking about a few weeks back about the old trains out that way. I'm not sure if you remember. I'll see if I can scan the photo for you it's really cool!

Hey, no need to explain above, I completely understand, and you are a very centered girl! I apologize for crossing the line there.

Anyways, I'll see if I can scan that photo I think you'll find it really cool!

Nicely detailed.
You asked where I would go when I get out of here.I guess I could sell NOW as a "fixer-upper" and probably will. I'll go to NW Nevada .My friend lives there and we have been "tight friends" to say the least thru thick and thin for several yrs.
You asked about rafting.  I don't swim so that would be out! Glug,Glug,Glug....I waded out into the Pacific, from the knees down at night.  That was cool.
My love of water came from Chicago's Lake Michigan.
Those were very interesting model train landscapes, so real looking you wouldn't even know.  Can you do that type of set up too? You will soon be out of space tho!
Posted:  11 Feb 2008 04:32
I wouldn't have the room to do too much landscape on my layout, though the little bit of landscape scenery that I will do will be North West style. Firs, Mountians, etc. I haven't figured out how I will do the port and the industrial area, I may have some forest in between, not sure yet!

Too bad you'd have to sell your house as a fixer upper. I love fixing up houses. Big money to be made in that market. I've been thinking the last couple of years of starting this. My Brother and Mom are both Realtors up here to so it would be very easy to find a good deal! The Housing market up here is still going crazy. I can't believe how much growth is still happening. Anyways maybe you'd be better to fix your house up first? Maybe you don't want to either, your choice I guess. Anyways I hope your move goes well if and when you decide to move to be closer to your friend!

It seems I have been trying to get this mess fixed up, but it is very slow for me and it seems to only be getting worse!  Ha Ha!  The land is where the value lies here.  Not what is on it.
Posted:  11 Feb 2008 11:10
Maybe your house is sitting on a Gold mine! Wouldn't that be nice!

Wow I'm finally feeling better. The last week has been like a blur to me. I've been so sick. Worst cold I've ever had. Still I have this gurggling in my lungs but it's almost gone. Weird dreams, lack of sleep, dizzy, stuffed sinuses, just awful! My energy has returned me this evening I feel so much better, finally! Wow!

Anyways, that'd be cool if you were able to move out to be closer to your friend. Would you buy a place again or find a place to rent?

That is great that you are feeling better.  You sure had a bad start as far as health goes for 2008.

I don't know yet what I'd do if I do go to NV.  "Any old port in a storm" is good enough for me!
Posted:  11 Feb 2008 20:22
hmmm does Nevada have a port? hahahahahha!!!   Just joking!

Maybe you can discover your inner poker genius and be the queen of late night poker shows! and do the WPT!

That is just an old, old song my Gram remembered her mother sang!!.(Any Old Port in Storm") She loved to sing nutty, sometimes a little risque songs(That one was). Was she a hoot!
Believe me, I am not making plans...if the house falls down around me, my sister has an extra-bedroom, FREE! I have options.  I like it that way.
Seems like your resistance is down.  Vitamins?
Posted:  12 Feb 2008 07:51
I've been taking lots of vitamins! I think it's just the constant rounds of crap I have to fight. Grrrrr.

By the way, I was just teasing you about the song lyrics! funny I thought it was. Having options is a good thing by the way.

Wow!  I am having bad computer problems, programs are running(whenever I am on---slowing me to a drag) that I can't take off---- even can't get them off when I go to "remove programs".That says "can't remove because the program is running"  I must have gotten another weird virus.  This one is real bad. (ads) If nobody hears from me---Bye Everybody, my computer is dead--not me!!!LOL
I'll get over here when I get another computer (that is, if I can't help this one! I may still be O.K. here)
Posted:  13 Feb 2008 03:47
I hope you've fixed your computer, this seems to be a common problem you've been getting. I think last time you have a problem loading your internet browser before you started useing firefox.

I hope it's o.k. I need someone to laugh with on here!

No, nothing will help so far.  I can take it in, but I may have a trasshed hard drive from a really bad virus. I don't have a "fire-wall"  I can get on but the same ad programs runs and I can't remove it.  It interferes with anything I do and makes everything slow. I may just get a used computer when I have a good couple of weeks.
Hope you are upright at the moment.  And what did you do to me over the computer.-- Now I have your cold!  But I get over stuff in sonic boom time. Don't forget tomorrow nite!

Nanni:
If you are having problems getting rid of pop ups, May I sugest you start your computer in Safe Mode then try deleting them from there. Safe Mode does not load all your stuff into memory and "SOME" programs can be killed that way. While in safe mode it is also a good idea to run your antivirus software and make it easier to kill anything residing there.

BTW in case you don't know how to get into "Safe Mode"
1: Shut Down PC
2: Wait a few seconds the turn it back on
3: Tap the F8 key repeatedly until you get a black screen with White lettering Titled Windows Avanced Options Menu.
4: scroll up to Safe mode and hit Enter( you may have to use Arrow Keys as the mouse is usually disabled.

Next get Ad-Aware 2007 it is free for personal use and keeps a lot of the pesky little critters away(Make sure you get Ad-Aware 2007 from Lavasoft as there a lot look alike names out there that will do more harm than good)
Hope that helps
