Dooley was a mule (is a mule), I would think he is packing up in the Superstition Mts. yet. They said he was a favorite with the ladies. He takes the tourists around. He got a good home and a good "gig". He may still wear a hat.
I am glad you showed the proportion of the size of the cars and " wee folks " to your hand. And the size of the boxes that the buildings come in. isn't that so really weird that I was thinking about them. I doze off to some really odd stuff from time to time. I doubt anyone else had the question in their mind, even. I am like always questioning things. Darn!
Yep it is really good to move the air around and no one does that much in winter due to the outside temp, but I do it every nite to my bedroom window and I stand there and breath really deep just b4 going to bed. Hopefully there are not bad guys out there because I have no window screens so nothing between me and the night. Hope I don't get pulled out the window by a strong hand some nite. Maybe I better not do that.
Can you buy a product we have in the states called NyQuil up there? That does help, and it knocks you on your a-- so you can sleep. Maybe you could get a bottle of it. It is really good for a cold.
U Take Care!'
I hope Tim is going to be O.K. with that kind of infection! I am glad he went and saw somebody. Like Zod said "That skin virus spreads real fast"!

A mule is sterile, a product of the mating between a donkey and a filly. They are truly very stubborn animals and if they are "agin' it" you will run around all morning with a bridle in your hand trying to get him ready to ride.No bribe (apples, sweet feed) accepted. After he is saddled, then he lets you mount and can be an excellent ride! Dooley only likes girls. He was balky "with men". But he didn't kick girls. He was affectionate actually.
I hope to get out of this place after I get the house in a condition to sell, which may be awhile. $$$$ problems and then the Un-handy handymen. The "doors" episode was good enough for prime time TV show. Now, I can laugh!

Interesting, so what's a filly? (YIKES) sorry obviously not a farm boy hey! hahahaha.
So where would you like to move Nanci? Somewhere closer to the Ocean maybe? I remember how you said you loved walking on the beach but don't get to do it much. It's so healthy and re-energizing. I love being near the ocean. Though sometimes I hate being on an Island as big as it is. It's beautiful, but when I want to go to the States, or Calgary or Vancouver etc the Ferries is a pain. Again a beautiful 1 1/2 trip but sometimes you just want to get there. I guess it's a toss up. I love living in Canada though I feel so thankful. You look around at all the other Countries in the World.. Iraq, Russia, India, etc. We have so much to be thankful for. Living in Countries like the U.S., Canada, Australia, etc is such a blessing! Where ever you decide to move I hope you find a nice place to call home and feel at peace.
It's funny I was thinking of you the other day, and I was thinking... I wonder if Nanci really feels happy living where she does? If she feels alone, or trapped, or just not content wanting to get away and spread your wings. I pray for you on this.
Remember focus on what you want! __________________ Don't mess with me...I'm like a super BABY!!!

How do I feel living here---desperate, because I feel like it is falling in on me. Call a shrink!
A "filly" is a young girl horse. A male is a stallion or a "stud". There you go---ready for ranch living. Get a cowboy hat and a gun--but do not, I repeat, do not ride up to BBack Mountaun!! Ya hear?

Wow that was funny, I just logged on posted a comment and in the mean time you've posted this. good timing hey!
Well, now I feel so much more farmish. I guess with my big beard I can feel more the part now too! It's getting ridiculous! hahahahhaa.
I felt you felt that way. Keep faith, you have all the power to change your situation. I feel for you. It's tough knowing that there's no one around to lean on, or to help you. I know your a strong independant woman but still it's nice to have another strong shoulder to lean on sometimes too. I do pray for you. I'll keep you in prayer on this matter. I'm sorry you are having a desperate, alone, stranded, feeling around you. Just remember you are never alone! The world is at your feet and fingertips, you just need to believe you can, you deserve it, and to seize it! You are such an awesome girl, I completely believe in you hey! Don't give up!
I've found the times where I've been at the end of my rope, or at a place I thought I'd never climb out of, etc, it's these times and places that have defined me. They mold us, strengthen us, make us stronger, wiser, and better. Good things are waiting for you my friend! fight for it! __________________ Don't mess with me...I'm like a super BABY!!!

Tthanks for the peppy talk but I have to keep in mind, my future may have passed. I am 10 months past the open heart surgery. One thing for sure absolutely--I am making sure I am committed to nothing.
Goals, romance, --- I am like adrift, day by day. But I am happy I am here. I have NO "power to change" stuff as you say. My fragile life is in God's hands. That is good, all good.

Thanks!
I have a big favor tho, if you will. I don't want to talk about problems I may have. It is not good for me.AND all wrong for a public forum. Romance is out--please, Let that topic slide by. and I am not making goals and plans and I feel much better not mentioning those either. I appreciate your positivity. Don't get me wrong. I just want to be like everybody else here, not feel like I am "needy"--'cause I am pretty centered all the time. My house is a wreck and that is the only thing bothering me. really.
You are really nice. I KNOW you mean well, totally.
Let's just bury this subject. I guess it is my fault. I was just complaining about the d--- doors, but if and when I get some ... good enough I can deal with that. I promise not to complain about stuff!!! LOL!

Nicely detailed.
You asked where I would go when I get out of here.I guess I could sell NOW as a "fixer-upper" and probably will. I'll go to NW Nevada .My friend lives there and we have been "tight friends" to say the least thru thick and thin for several yrs.
You asked about rafting. I don't swim so that would be out! Glug,Glug,Glug....I waded out into the Pacific, from the knees down at night. That was cool.
My love of water came from Chicago's Lake Michigan.
Those were very interesting model train landscapes, so real looking you wouldn't even know. Can you do that type of set up too? You will soon be out of space tho!

It seems I have been trying to get this mess fixed up, but it is very slow for me and it seems to only be getting worse! Ha Ha! The land is where the value lies here. Not what is on it.

That is great that you are feeling better. You sure had a bad start as far as health goes for 2008.
I don't know yet what I'd do if I do go to NV. "Any old port in a storm" is good enough for me!

That is just an old, old song my Gram remembered her mother sang!!.(Any Old Port in Storm") She loved to sing nutty, sometimes a little risque songs(That one was). Was she a hoot!
Believe me, I am not making plans...if the house falls down around me, my sister has an extra-bedroom, FREE! I have options. I like it that way.
Seems like your resistance is down. Vitamins?

No, nothing will help so far. I can take it in, but I may have a trasshed hard drive from a really bad virus. I don't have a "fire-wall" I can get on but the same ad programs runs and I can't remove it. It interferes with anything I do and makes everything slow. I may just get a used computer when I have a good couple of weeks.
Hope you are upright at the moment. And what did you do to me over the computer.-- Now I have your cold! But I get over stuff in sonic boom time. Don't forget tomorrow nite!

Nanni:
If you are having problems getting rid of pop ups, May I sugest you start your computer in Safe Mode then try deleting them from there. Safe Mode does not load all your stuff into memory and "SOME" programs can be killed that way. While in safe mode it is also a good idea to run your antivirus software and make it easier to kill anything residing there.
BTW in case you don't know how to get into "Safe Mode"
1: Shut Down PC
2: Wait a few seconds the turn it back on
3: Tap the F8 key repeatedly until you get a black screen with White lettering Titled Windows Avanced Options Menu.
4: scroll up to Safe mode and hit Enter( you may have to use Arrow Keys as the mouse is usually disabled.
Next get Ad-Aware 2007 it is free for personal use and keeps a lot of the pesky little critters away(Make sure you get Ad-Aware 2007 from Lavasoft as there a lot look alike names out there that will do more harm than good)
Hope that helps
