Nanci, you may want to download Zone Alarm, it is a free firewall software program.
A free pop-up stopper software you can also download is Pop-Up Stopper by Panicware.
Also, if you right click anywhere on blank area of the start bar that runs across the bottom of the computer screen, you will get a menu that should have "Task Manager" as an option you can click. Click on the "Processes" tab (the second tab from the left), there you can select any process (program) and click the "End Process" button to kill the program that's running.
Also, make sure you have AVG Anti-Virus downloaded and running on your computer.

I'm the same way usually, I get over things really quickly. Not these last things I've had. They weren't regular colds! I just don't wanna be sick for like ever. I've had enough thanks!
