I got the address.  It may be a year till we go again, but I will be looking
No, I didn't see trains here (real ones) just the models.
The item I bought is a VHS tape, of  the 1957 trip and put out in 1991. It is very clear and fun to see.
I am off to do lunch now.

that's cool. I'll have to find those photos of the larg trains. If I haven't saved them to my hard drive, I'll have to wait a few weeks when my camera comes back from Sony. I'm picking up my Panasonic camera today from the other repair shop. I have to pay for this one, but the Sony is under warranty. Grrrr! hahaha... Oh Well, I dropped the Panasonic on Canada Day. It's weird because that day before I went out, I said to myself, I have to be careful not to drop my camera, it'd suck if I broke it. And there you go... bad affirmation!

Have a nice lunch. I'm finishing up some house work for the next couple of hours. I sent my employee off to do some work and he'll be back in a couple of hours, so I'm giving him some work to do at my house, cleaning my back sundeck etc. So he can work a good day. As he needs some hours.

Well, have fun!

hey about waiting 2 years, no worries. I just think it was nice that you thought of me when you saw the video. I do love architecture and skyscrapers. I find it facinating. Anyways no worries, I don't expect anything. Just the nice thought is enough.

Cheers.

You won't have to wait 2 years!  My God!  No, the sale I was at was once a year, I think--Hummm maybe it is twice.  About a million books and videos and on the second day, everything is 50cents each.  They also had another you might have liked, it was Model RRs and the landscapes and towns around,(Book) but it was old, like 1940s, so probably not of interest.  The Skylines and Skyscrapers was a book too, not a video.  Maybe you have it.
Well, the next good thing for today (tonight actually) will be (I hope) Smallville!

I hope you will be safe having your address on.  Someone might think it is funny to mail you something dumb.Uninvited guests even might appear on your doorstep. Maybe even Lex Luthor! Hope you have a peek hole in your door.  eeeeek!.

Ahhh, I'm not too worried. It was erased fast enough. Like I've said before. My names been mentioned a lot on here. If someone wants to google my name, they'd find my address in minutes. Every city council meeting I go to I have to declare my name and address, then it gets published online in the City public hearing records. I've googled myself a few times and it's amazing how many times I pop up! hahaha. Oh well so goes the secret identity. Anyways I'm not too worried. If I got something weird in the mail like that I think I'd laugh so hard.... I'd post the photo of it on here! Share some laughs! David's mailed me things before too. Actually I've just sent him off a small Canadian Gift...it's a late New Years present!

I also don't have that book. I don't have a lot of architecture books. I love things like Bridges, tunnels, skyscrapers, man made acheivements, that have a very artistic look to them. Like the Golden Gate Bridge, The Statue of Liberty, the CN Tower in Toronto, etc. Fascinating!

Anyways, thanks so much again, the thought is so kind!

Have fun watching smallville!!!

It would seem that Wikipedia has formed it's own subset website, specifically for Smallville:

I have done the area (Donner Pass) and from the  sad, gruesome, history  I get an uncomfortable feeling there.  But it is a big tourist attraction now.   Fun for everybody, but for me, no.
Posted:  02 Feb 2008 04:00
What is it? If you get an uncomfortable feeling, you're  probably picking up the emotional energy of the place. I get like that too. If I go in a house that bad things have happened, or someone has been killed etc. Not everyone senses these things.

I'm curious what place you are talking about.

Donner Pass--never heard of it?  Well, let me tell you.
Donner Pass is the place that a wagon train stopped in a snow storm.Venturing west  Travel became impossible due to a major winter storm and they settled in, trying to send men over the Mount. to get help.  Some made it out.  In time they were out of food.  They resorted to cannibalism!  Some survived, many were eaten, they did spare the woman and children till last--eventually help came---too late,  Just bones.
i went there with some buddies.  It is now quite a place.  Many attractions, sports areas, etc.
Everybody was fine---but me.  I know they thought I was the biggest wuss they ever knew.  It was summer, I was freezing.   I felt like somebody was sitting on my chest and I was so depressed--I wanted out of there so bad, everybody else was having a blast.  God!  I felt lots of"somebodys"  there.  Nobody felt anything out of the ordinary-- just me. No joke!

I believe you. I've experienced many things. In a friends home, I felt such an evil presence there. I found out later that this guys girl friend had been using a  ouija board there and he told me she saw an entity and it would bother her all the time. She'd wake up in the middle of the night and say it's here it's here but couldn't move. I didn't know any of this, but I felt something very evil and powerful in that house. Not good. I've also been to a house before I even walked in it, I knew someone young had died in it. I could feel the presence. Almost looking at me or reaching out to me. So strange, it came about that two young university girls had died in that house. I completely believe you. I don't think I would want to visit that place. I think when you feel like that it's important to ask for God's protection. I'm also a Christian so I always ask that I'm covered with the light white of Christ. That anything evil or unwanted is expelled away from me. It works all the time. Though sometimes you feel the oposite, a warm welcoming feeling, like angelic, something beautiful and amazing. I sense that around me a lot. That's what I like. I can also feel when people are thinking about me in a nice way or praying for me. It's like you feel them near you, an inner smile, or a warm embrace. Intuition is an amazing Gift. Be thankful you have it, and use wisdom when you sense things like that. Not everything you sense is good. But it is a great gift. I've found over time I've become more aware of these things, how it works, where certain feeling come from etc. I also believe it's a gift God gives us, and all gifts should be used and not suppressed. You may not believe my interpretation of this feeling, but either way I share the same senses. Thanks for sharing the story!

I dunno, is it a "gift" or a curse"--I do get impressions from people right fast, and usually I had it targeted correct as time proves me right.  I haven't been in a lot of old towns, but there were a few in Camden my buds and I explored when I was young and again, everybody ventured in to some abandoned lots and places and I always hung back, always feeling cold (now I remember) my hair stood up , many times I thought one of my friends was behind me and when I turned, nobody! THAT still haooens though in certain situations.  I can swear I am not alone.  Brrrrrrr.  Just my feelings, probably a lot like yours.  At Donner Park there was sadness of huge proportion that I felt.  Can you imagine if I started crying. LOL-  (No, I didn't)  But that grief was still there.
Thanks for your comisseration! and inspirational.

Have you ever watched the TV show "Ghost Hunters"?  A crew with a bunch of tech. equip.investigate where people say they saw strange sights, etc  I think it has been on a few seasons.  Also can be Googled for videos of shows, comments, and etc.
Posted:  03 Feb 2008 07:40
Yeah, I've watched that show a few times. I also watch a show a couple of times called Celebrity Ghost Hunters it was kinda funny actually. I'm not into going on a Ghost Hunt! hahahaha!

Some of the locations these people go to are pretty creepy!

If I had to choose one or be exterminated, I'd take Ghost-hunters.  I don't want to be hurled off a cliff by tht "Foot", I'd rather be spook-attacked. Sounds like harmless fun anyway.I need a tank of green slime attached to my back though like Dan Akroyd (GhostBusters) LOL.

HA ....   HA..... Ha......(sarcasticly) to both of you! I think you know what I mean.  It'll be in the summer sometime. Through all the expeditions no one has been attacked by these things, though rocks have been thrown at the expedition team etc. I'm holding out hope to have some sort of contact experience! Fun stuff!
