Here's the official description for 'Fracture'.
The CW's Official Description: "Fracture"
Airs February 14, 2008 on The CW
Lois (Erica Durance) follows Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) to Detroit and discovers he has found Kara (Laura Vandervoort), who has amnesia. Finley (guest star Corey Sevier), a busboy who is obsessed with Kara, fears Lex will take her away, so he shoots Lex and holds Kara and Lois captive. After Lex's comatose body is found, Chloe (Allison Mack) offers to heal him, but Clark (Tom Welling) refuses to let her.

Must be the one where we'll see Clark enter Lex's mind (as Martian Manhunter did Clark's back in "Labyrinth"). __________________The Bible is so powerful. It's not to be left on your shelf. It's to outline even the simplest scriptures that can mean so much in building yourself up.

He'd have to stop her, right, because she'd become comatose if she healed him? __________________

I wonder how Lex gets out of the coma. Anything Clark can do? Or would he prefer he stays prone. That would solve all the problems. LOL. I guess Lana has some hidden things that will surprise us. AND-- I, personally, think she still has a "thing" for Lex...that last kiss when she confronted him in a fury, was a toe-curler. Lana! You cannot fool me girl!!

He was trying to kill the "good" left in him. Was it the coolest show , nope, but it was all-right.

For the first time we saw Clark have the attitude that a criminal can be reformed. Usually he's just like your Lex Luthor, your evil, and that's it. As Superman in the comics he tends to try and reform bad guys whenever possible. At least in the old days of comics. Once he even reprogrammed Braniac. That didn't last forever of course.
I think now since Clark has seen that there is good in Lex he will forever try to reach out to that part of Lex to bring him back from the dark side. __________________

I think we can plan on seeing that spot of humanity in Lex arise from time to time, (especially if there is a season eight,) until ultimately he does kill the goodness within himself. Meanwhile, that should prove a great dynamic between Clark and Lex.
