I thought it was excellent.

I was disappointed.

*SPOILERS*

Oh no!  Why?  because Julian is gone?  Because Lana liked the Phantom /Bizarro's lovemaking better than Clarks? How about that.  Clark is not good enough!  That might bother some die-hard fans.  Where was Lois, is that why you are disappointed?  Tell why you didn't like it, OK?

This episode aired at 7.p.m. AZ time.  I guess I may have been first to see it?

Well, I liked *parts* of the episodes, but the majority of it I found disappointing.

I was not bothered by any of the reasons you brought up Shadow.  It was rather a relief to not have the ever-annoying Lois show up.  I understood why they had the Julian-clone die, it was to illustrate Lex's ever expanding attempts at playing God - and his doomed fate of failure at attempting such a venture.  It served to show just how far Lex has fallen in his journey.

The Lana/Bizzaro stuff, I could care less.  To tell you the truth, I felt sorry for Bizzaro!! Ha, now there's a laugh!!  Still, it would have been funny if they had kept Bizzaro around for Lana's sake - then we would be free of this annoying Lana/Clark failure.

No, what disappointed me was after all this, they left it with Clark staying with Lana!!  Oy vey!!

Also, Jor-El (well the A.I. that calls itself Jor-El) seemed awfully dumb/limited.  I mean, he could impeed Clark from doing anything - yet he lets Bizzaro escape???

Also, Clark was too easily fooled by Fine's impersonation of Lionel, in my opinion.  I was also disappointed at how little interaction they had play out b/w Clark and Dax-Ur, and what became of Dax-Ur?  Did Fine kill him?

Anyhow, I guess it ranked up there with the rest of this season.

At least they did have a nice Chloe and Clark moment among all the insanity.

Oh please... please please... a small small Chloe and Clark scene saved this episode...hahahahaha! That's funny! But come on, I agree with you David. It was really poorly written. Most of this season has been crap, rushed, and poorly acted.

I really thought that they've goofed on Jor El. As if he'd lock Clark in a frozen chamber, and only let him out because Bizarro happen to talk to Jor el. I mean if that didn't happen Clark would have been there for how long? And it was only because Bizarro was there that no one figured that Clark was in the frozen North EH! So if Bizarro didn't come back, Martha, Chloe, Lana and everyone would have gone up with ice picks and got him out. So stupid.

Also They made Bizarro nice. Why kill him off. He could be a cool evil nemisis for Clark. Man, leave these writers on strike! Horrible. I can't wait to see Sleazy nylon chick next episode.

David I completely agree with you. I don't completely believe that Julian is dead though.

Anyways that's my take! Just finnished watching it about half an hour ago!

P.S. Shadow, I could have watched it last night up here! So I would have watched it before you hey!

Just kidding. When I do watch it on Thurs. nights I keep from reading on here all afternoon till I do watch it.

I also "liked" the Bizarro guy.
Question, Lex seemed upset to say the least when he had Julian executed.  Can he make another one?  If possible, I do think he will!
Will Lois investigate where her lover has "gone"?
Clark seems "dumb and dumber" and maybe that has a bearing on why Lana fell hard for Bizaarro  He seemed to be "cooler" in many ways. I see at the end the real Clark and Lana are estranged in bed.  Is this going to be the reason they finally end it all. (Because Clark is a dud in bed???  That is SO FUNNY!!)  We having been waiting for the turning point---this may be it! How crazy would THAT be!
The mechanic, what is his Krypt name, is most certainly dead.  He was a nice guy, and they were killing off too many nice guy characters last night.  I liked Lionel's hair, well styled.
I will not be watching next week because I am not into total "camp" (Siren,  just too silly--I don't like a joke like that on MY Smallville--also couldn't "come to grips" The Joker in Batman. !!  (Yes,  I draw the line with characters like that.Pure Circus)  .  My pecularities, I know...but things like that--thay far out ruin the concept for me.
I did like tonights episode. thought is "jelled well"--but again I say--the fortress has got to go--put Siren in and blow it up!!  LOL.
It is always nice to get everybody's take on the show.  I am the only one who liked it so far, and the only girl checkin in, so maybe it was "good for me" last night

I'm glad you liked the show, I thought it had some good points, but over all it was pretty week. To me anyways. Shadow, why don't you give the show next week a chance.  Give the first ten minutes a try and if it is as bad as it seems then you can turn it off. It could possibly be a good episode. Green Arrow comes back and there could be some good turning points in the series. Well it's your choice, I'd just hate for you to miss a good show, on what seems to be a cheesy cheesy character. Well, that's my thought anyhow!

Maybe .  If the Green Arrow can compensate me for my troubles.
Posted:  01 Feb 2008 20:50
I liked it. Could have been paced a little faster, but still keeps me very interested. The shocking end was a good twist even though I hated to see the Luthor clone get shot. I'd like to have seen what would have happened with another Luthor running around competing with Lex.

I would have liked more to have been done with the other Kryptonian. Like who he was how did he get there etc,

Well, I am stunned!!  You mean the real Lionel is dead and gone!!  Where have I been!  I missed that entirely, I may have missed one show when I had to work on a Thurs, nite at the studio.  So, Lionel dead!  I can't stand it
I am getting new doors put on the bedrooms, kitchen and 2 bathrooms and holes in the walls patched up(so pretty big so probably need drywall patches too. so I will probably be too busy involved with that till tomorrow.  --6 doors  need replacing here.  I am sure my head is going to be aching before this is over.  Ugggh!

No, Tim meant the clone of Julian Luthor being dead - not Lionel!!

That's good you are getting a bunch of work done in your house. How the heck did such large holes get put in the drywall??? Do I want to ask! Does Shadow have a temper? Maybe too much chocolate?

Good luck with the house repairs.

Not my temper.  I have 3 fist holes here.  But they are from some time back. Not pointed to me!!  The doors are from constant slamming I guess and maybe kid's kicking  them---the house is 60 years old and I never had $$$$ to fix anything, --but my sister is sending a "crew" over here to hep out.  Her husband got the doors free from some guys who work for an agency who have used but good doors for people who could use house restoration.  I guess the city foots the bills--but the workers do get paid. I am unsure how it works.  So I am getting some help from family for that.  We talked at lunch about that yesterday and the plan came to pass fast.

That's cool your family is helping you fix your house! I was teasing by the way about you having a wrestling slam fest in your house, raging temper!

Hey do you have kids? or did you mean kids that were in the house before you? Hmmm? Didn't you say your Grandma left you the house a long time ago? Maybe I'm asking too personal questions...you can tell me to butt out if you wish

Anyways good luck on the house repairs!

Now I have to say the episode was O.K.  Maybe not my favorite, but it was decent.  Somebody mentioned "where is Lois".  Just where was she?  Not writing an article?  She could have been in there logically. I like Lois and I guess that is not the majority of opinion here.  I also miss Kara and wonder if she will be back, or lost till next season?  Bottom line.  Good show is my vote (are we voting? It looks as if .)
Posted:  02 Feb 2008 03:27
The house has been occupied for 60 years, imagine all the kids---none of which have ever been mine or Shadows.

HAHAHA!! You R Funny. http://emoticons4u.com/happy/072.gif

Yeah, well I hope the repairs go well! I'm so hungry right now!!! David told me about himself making pizza and now I'm so craving pizza!

I also still have to go out to my brother's and pick up my Bobcat. I lent it to him around Christmas then I got so sick. I think he's tired of having it in his driveway too, but he got to use it a couple of days for free so he's also happy. Hmmm PIZZA!!!

Awe! I was thinking about you today hoping that your day of door fixing and family help went well, but I know these family things can be far from helpful sometimes. I hope you have a better evening! I'll pray for serenity and a peaceful night for you! I just got up from a two hour nap!

Take care and have a nice evening! I'll wait for what I'm sure will be your entertaining story later. Hugs 2 U! Till then Hugs 2 U!

The doors are not new,and not really the right type for here.  My old doors are at the dump and we are not using the used doors they got(Returned) I am on "winter break" from doors, "unhandy handymen. Etc. etc. etc.  I have now ---no doors, there was some agitated discussion about doors, but no "fights"like above.  My God!
I just caught the end of my morn. news--They were talking about the writer's strike and shows and said "Chloe will be pregnant by the end of the season "
