With Grant dead and Lex otherwise occupied, what a perfect time to bring back Perry White. Lex could hire him under the assumption that Perry could be controlled because of his drinking problem and failure of a career. Of course Perry's been clean for a while now and would be a huge ally to Clark, and by extension the 'league' as well.
