Thanks Carmic!
I knew that they can't trade players from Japan to the Major Leagues, that's what kinda makes it even funnier!
What's everyone's thoughts on the Big Leagues, NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, etc doing games in London and Europe. The reason they are doing this is because they are thinking of expansion. The problem is the travel. I don't think it would work.
I'm also worried about the NFL wanting a team in Toronto and possibly Vancouver, as this would kill the CFL. And I love the Canadian Football League. I hope the Buffalo Bills don't move to Toronto. They are having 5 Bills games being played in Toronto this year. Plans are to have a team in Toronto within five years! Not Good! Toronto is one of the CFL's main teams!
There is also talk of more NHL expansion. Hamilton is a main contender. Betman has said he doesn't want any more Canadian Teams, but the owners do. 50 percent of NHL players are Canadian. The rest are Europeon, Russian, and American. So The Canadian Market is really important. Also beleive this one or not, but Mexico City has been trying to get a MLB team and an NHL team. Funny there's not Mexican city with a pro sports team within the major sports leagues. Mexico city is huge, but can they support the expense of a pro sports team? It's too bad Vancouver lost their NBA team. They had some of the best Fan capacity in the league. The new owner promised to keep the team in Canada but as soon as he bought it he moved it to the U.S. There is still talk of Vancouver getting another NBA team sometime.
I just hope the NFL never comes to Canada! I love the CFL! __________________ Don't mess with me...I'm like a super BABY!!!
